  1. Ikea website will have dimensions noted for the Antilop highchair.
  2. Not exactly North Dulwich but not far - Playgroup at the Copleston Centre 10am for 1.5- 2 hours. ?1 per child lots of toys, some crafts, tunnels, trikes, slide http://www.coplestoncentre.org.uk/#/contact-us/4541957741
  3. I was very happy with the Icandy Cherry. Snug carrycot for up to 5-6 months which was perfect for our winter baby. Then the forward or rear facing seat when they are ready to see what's happening out there. Great sized basket for shopping trips and it was easy enough to fold down to put in the car or pack away in the house.

Started with London Baby Swimming in Woodhall Drive, Dulwich but then weekend classes got cancelled. Aquatots was then at the same location for a convenient weekday class. (nice pool but very cramped changing facilities). That then was no longer convenient so now with Little Dippers at Guys Hospital in the hydrotherapy pool. All have been good but enjoying Little Dippers the most as there are individual spacious changing rooms and a really lovely teacher. it's a really easy journey for me as we live just by ED station. Happy to answer any questions via PM moominfilly
  5. There are also specialist swimming schools such as London Baby Swimming, Aquatots, Little Dippers etc etc that have structured programmes. The ultimate aim is to teach babies confidence in the water and how to turn and swim to the side and hold on if they were to ever fall in a pool. It's been lots of fun going through all the lessons and my daughter loves each class. We are about to start Level 4. These schools have Dulwich or other locations it's just a matter of searching the Internet if this is the way you want to go. You have to have a 'happy nappy' (Splashabout) that is worn over a Huggies Little Swimmer nappy. Also the lessons are in hydrotherapy pools so baby doesn't get cold. Have fun!
  6. I found weaning a bit stressful. Mainly due to trying to ensure my little one had the recommended 600ml of milk a day when we had reached 3 meals per day. Also how much to give. What is the right portion size? For me, it felt like I was constantly giving her food or milk. I was loosely following the Annabel Karmel Second Stage weaning planners initially. That included the mid-morning, mid-afternoon and bedtime milk. It felt like it was food or milk nearly every 2 hours. I was also breastfeeding once a day so never sure how much milk that was. I was also dealing with a lot of sicking up which may have been due to an immature digestive system or that my daughter liked to be on her tummy all the time, even straight after meals. I am not certain from your original if you are concerned about whether your daughter is getting adequate milk amounts or just concerned that she is rejecting meals/milk feeds at certain points during the day. My Health Visitor suggested that I try to leave 3 hours between meals/milk. She also suggested giving the solids and topping up with milk which I tried at lunchtimes for a short while. I was giving 120ml 30 minutes after a vege puree, yoghurt and fruit. I no longer do this as I tweaked things after a while as the sicking up ceased. Like you there was a lot of adjusting of meal sizes and milk volumes to reach a happy medium. To this day we still don?t get in the recommended 600ml per day but my HV said it is just a guide. I use dairy alternatives to get as close as possible ? natural yoghurt with fresh fruit puree at lunch and tea, some cheese every day etc etc. You asked for timings so here is our typical day from about 8 months: 0730 breastfeed (replaced by 150-180ml at 9 months) 0900 cereal and fruit with 60ml milk 1200 vege puree, babybel cheese, yoghurt and fruit 1500/1530 150ml bottle 1800 tea ? always include protein 1915 150ml bottle I did a lot of online research about daily meal/feed routines as posted by other mums and there are so many variations. The above is what is now working for us based on our waking and bedtimes.
  7. Just back from a week near St Austell. Spotted Kidzworld nearby on the road towards Fowey which may suit a toddler. Think it is about a 40 minute drive from Padstow. We considered going to Newquay Zoo but didn't in the end. We were told that it is pretty good. Also advised that Lobster Hatchery near Padstow is good but don't know if this is for little ones. Hopefully once there you can get your hands on some brochures. We picked up one that had all sorts of activities/attractions for children. Have a nice holiday.
