Hi there
Is anyone else having trouble with Virgin broadband ? It?s a bloody nightmare at the moment

Absolutely ! Well said

Yes . Absolutely agree that a portion of the profits or fees go to park . Tbh I thought that would be a given . That should always be the first thing talked about when big events happen

Well said Nick !!

I think the idea of a festival like this is great for Peckham and the local area . So many of the great London parks are open to festivals now showcasing fantastic music and local produce . South east London is producing so many fine musicians and dj's that a proper annual festival should be there just as a showcase for them . When Tyler the creator was allowed back into the country having been banned by Theresa May he didn't bowl up in some shoozy club in the west end , he chose Peckham. Peckham is where it's at and we should have an annual festival that celebrates that

Went to Lucas bakery for breakfast yesterday . Gotta day I was really disappointed. The scrambled eggs were dry and when we asked where the feta cheese was in them they said ( oh it?s there !! ) The veggie breakfast was just boring and tasteless . I can?t understand why new ventures in a competitive market don?t ? attack ? the menu with a bit of imagination and vitality . West end prices for local food too . Ah well . Fear not ? Blue Brick ? yer still the best

I like him but yes to be fair he does have his off days but sure pheck it ........we ALL do . He used to always take the piss out of me for doing one of Jamie Oliver's pasta dishes too often . Made me laugh

Once upon a time a trip to Calais was a good option for buying in bulk for a wedding but now I'm not so sure . The bigger wine merchants will do very good deals on some very good wines . Always give Majestic a shout . They're very good on advice and food pairings etc especially if you get a really knowledgeable member of staff . HOWEVER the trip to Calais will uncover bargains and when I did it with my groomsmen it was a corking day out ! Good luck

Well said pal . It could be hugely exciting for this neck of the woods

This sounds like a great idea . There's so much brilliant local talent too . Peckham is a different vibe to Clapham . Haven't been to On Blackheath but the line up was good !

Yes I do live in Camberwell Red Devil but at the Dog Kennel Hill end . I was frustrated with Balfe's service because they provided my tyres in the first place and I suppose I disagree with the fact that my tyres are SO rare . I also think it's right to MOAN on a public forum when issues of service and quality are concerned. I was just disappointed thats all . When a bike shop offers a 30 minute while u wait service and sends you off and then can't do it wouldn't u be a tad annoyed . I've spent a lot of money in there over the years . But thanks Richard for the response

Took my bike to Balfe's bikes on Sunday for a simple repair . They said no prob come back in half an hour . I did , only to be told they couldn't do it because they didn't stock the tyre . Ok , so half an hour wasted . I'm on their database but no phonecall or anything. They then suggested I take the bike " down the road " . " Evans " I said ....." Yeah " they said . Ok , so I took the bike to Balfes deliberately so I wouldn't have to give my cash to a big company and support something more local . They were nonplussed. So off to Evans I went . Same story . Except they stripped the bike before telling me they didn't have a tyre that size . I mean it's not like I was on a quadbike or anything. Who were able to help me ? Quickly and efficiently ? Yup , you guessed it . ...Edwardes in Camberwell ! GO EDWARDES .

Anyone out there know where I stand legally as regards the fence in my garden ? As I understand it I maintain the fence on my left as I look down the garden . My neighbour on my right isn't maintaining his side . The panels are rotting and in some areas are now non existent. I have asked repeatedly now for near on 2 years but it's just getting beyond a joke . It may even be a health and safety issue as some of the panels are quite jagged . Anyone else had this problem ?
