  1. Get yourself a KFC family bucket and a quart of 'MadDog 20:20' and just stay in. That's what I'll be doing :-)
  2. This is easy.....ALTIMA COURT of course !

Isn't that the police's fault? > Point for debate. It's not a point for debate. The police are doing their best to control what is in effect mob rule across London with limited numbers and resources. They are brave people, risking their lives on the streets trying to deal with these rioters and so deserve our full support.

This is not the police's fault so why are you disgusted by them?
  5. I agree - this is already being reported all over the world. What a terrible showcase for the olympics. It's like 1985 all over again...
  6. This looks like it could go all night - at least a lot of families are away on holidays.
  7. It looks like a war zone, wonder if it will spread out further in to SE22?
  8. And Ocado had just added SE22 to it's blacklist for deliveries...
  9. Can't see much local objection to this, we already have Foxtons.
  10. I like the suggestion of an express 37 bus which only stops at a few points on the route. Currently it really is an infuriating service - my worst experience was waiting just under 50 minutes for three of them to arrive together (2 almost empty). The common practice of (the same number) buses travelling in convoys must be stopped as it benefits no one. Perhaps the service should be free when this happens. The 37 is by far the worst offender of the SE London buses.
  11. Re. Katie1997 message: This is the link to the review on the East Dulwich Hotel - no idea if it's authentic but seems credible. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/place?q=East+Dulwich+Bed+%26+Breakfast,+26-30+Upland+Road,+London+SE22+9EF&hl=en&cid=9242002885905744224 I think some estate agents are struggling to shift property near to the hotel so that might explain the plans to 'run it out of town'.
  12. Review on Google Maps sums it up: Dear sweet Jesus, the filthiest place I' ve seen in my life. The smell, the dirt, if you haven't seen it you won't believe it... Walked in and straight out. On the positive side they have back our deposit.
  13. This is terrible but becoming more and more common in East Dulwich. I suppose as money comes to an area so does crime. It would be great to do something about it. Whatever happened to neighbourhood watch?
  14. I think you'd be better off in Peckham chap, although it'd make a change from another estate agent. In fact if you replaced Foxtons you'd get my vote.
  15. I think it's full of families living 10 to a room..I exagerate but you get the idea. Not sure who you can complain to about it if that's the idea? Southwark Council perhaps a good starting place.
