Miss b if killing a spider upsets you I hope you didn't see the Human planet the other week on BBC1. It showed some young kids who lived in the jungle who went out and hunted, killed and ate giant tarantulas. And all they used was a thin branch. They actually cooked them on a spit and ate them whole!

Thanks again. The above points do raise a question I wanted to ask: How many lessons would I need? I know that's like asking how long's a piece of string, but I'm quite a sporty bloke and have always picked up things quickly. I looked at some of the websites suggested and they offer ski lessons for a whole week which seems quite a lot and quite pricey.

I'll only do that if it's included as an option in the package.

Ta very much for all the advice.

Hi I'm just after a bit of advice and I wonder if anyone can help me? I'm thinking of booking a skiing holiday next month but I've never been skiing before. It all seems so complicated what with lift passes, equipment hire etc. Not to mention I don't have a clue what resort to visit. Can anyone advise me on how to proceed?

Technically I have to agree with blue revolution, though I think there is an element of sour grapes on his part. I have and still play a lot of football ( at a high level) and Nani's goal was very good. His first touch in controlling a difficult ball from Giggs was superb as he brought it down and got it out of his feet in one movement and retained his composure to score. Rooney's was brilliant but instinctive. He himself admitted that 9 times out of 10 they go over the bar and it did hit his shin. Google Klaus Fisher the ex west german striker, or Hugo Sanchez to see a bicycle kick executed to perfection on a regular and consistent basis.

I always thought he reached his peak in that McDonald's ad.

Dulwich and it's surroundings is a great place for marathon training because there are so many parks and green spaces. You can do a loop of, say, nunhead cemetary - peckham rye - dulwich park - crystal palace park - belair park - southbank uni playing fields - finish at brockwell park. Once round each park and that's about 15 miles, which is a good solid marathon training run out and very hilly to boot.
