I'll also add my support for Kuki. I've always found it difficult to find a hairdresser that I like, but since Kuki opened I'd never go anywhere else.

hi Philosophie I have very fine hair and had my hair cut with Pauline. I have never had a hairdresser who I feel 'understands' my fine hair before - I always feel like they don't believe when I say I don't know how to style it, and grips don't stay in and texture serum doesn't work etc. Pauline seemed to understand this and after she had finished my cut, took the time to show me stuff that did actually work. I'm sure she would respect your nerves, but would be able to advise you on your hair as well. I have honestly never felt so looked after at a salon!

Incidentally, we live just off the other end of Bellenden Road (Lyndhurst Way) and we were also burgled on the same night, via the patio doors at the back. Laptop, cameras, consoles and booze taken, as well a lot of very carefully selected 30th birthday gifts to my partner. Are fob watches and cufflinks big on the black market these days?
