Interestingly, I think he was going for my bag and then he saw that I had my phone in my hand. I was actually kind of relieved that it was my phone and not my bag (and that I had taken my phone out of my bag!).

Be careful around the Melbourne Grove, Derwent Grove and Elsie Road areas - I was mugged for my phone on Jan 17th (it's taken a while to post this, apologies). Black youth wearing a blue fleece and an obligatory hoody, parked his bike on Melbourne Grove and snuck up behind me at the Elsie Road bus stop at around 4am. Luckily, it wasn't particularly nasty and all I lost was my iPhone, but just be warned. He rode away on a small silver bike, if that helps anyone else who may be in the same position. PM me if you've had a similar incident and description - the police are apparently interested in investigating whether all these muggings are related.
