When did you use the CPT? Agree it had to change in it's last couple of years, but before that there were quite a few of us that used it very regularly. Damn it, I didn't want to talk about the CPT.

May have just been routine sniffer dog thing to do random searches. If the dog sniffs something on you, you'll be pulled aside and searched. Very annoying when you spend half hour being searched at Lewisham station, because a dog sniffed your inhaler!

Plus they'll often have 2 sports at the same time. It was traditionally a very Irish pub, and they still regularly show Gaelic Football and Hurling, which often clash with English football, so they'll have different sports on either end of the bar.

Because they have a lot of people wanting to watch sport and that's how they make most of their money.

It used to be 01. Then it was 081/071, then it was 0181/0171, then the 020 came in, but people probably still think of it as 0208/0207 because they were so used to 0181/0171. That's my excuse anyway.

The Castle is the only "boozer" left. And before anyone jumps on me, that is not an insult to anywhere else, but if you're using the term boozer in east Dulwich your options are more limited than they used to be.
