Southwark Sports Club. Dulwich Common, first Wednesday of the month (next one 1st June) from 8pm. Open jam with full backline.

Touchy.
Do you really think Elton John would be offended at being called that?
-
Apparently they've been working on a book (Steph & Dom that is).
-
Surely most people that are serious about sport / exercise prioritise comfort and practicality before style? (not that they don't want to look good too, otherwise why bother in the first place).

I loved the first season of Lillyhammer. Struggled with the increased amount of subtitles in season 2 (because I have shit eyes).

I suspect the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference without checking the label.
Or give a shit either way.

I think it was more a case of lots of small events at various venues around Peckham rather than a big event on the Rye.
All very electronic from what I could tell.

Agreed.

I have just really enjoyed Marcella on ITV (and have gogglebox to thank for that, otherwise I don't think I'd ever stumble across something on ITV).

I found making a murderer fascinating, but it was incredibly biased. I mean the first conviction, okay, he was totally stitched up. But not sure after that. Really sad story though, and his parents are heart breaking.
Had totally forgotten there's season 2 of Saul. Right, that's next on my list.
Came to house of cards late, so only just in to season 2. Am enjoying it still, but can see myself getting bored if it's just more of the same throughout.

Same edcam, it really does make us "LOL", which doesn't often happen.

Ah is he German? That's who I meant when I said "Polish dude". Thought he was Eastern European. Either way I like him.
-
Both of those are excellent.
Big Love is something a bit different, which I also thought was great. And six feet under is another (these are all HBO).
For comedy, I really enjoyed The Brink.
And my favourite thing recently was The Leftovers, although I know people that didn't get on with it.

Are the Siddiquis the 2 sons and their dad? In which case I too am a big fan. I also like the Polish dude. Oh and the Geordie family.
The person that annoys me most is the teenaged son with the long hair. He really does try too hard.

Don't disagree with any of that, and yes Seville deserve credit. But I've seen LFC lose finals before and never experienced an atmosphere quite like the one in the pub in that second half. There was tangible disbelief that they could have changed THAT much from the first half. As I say, more than just running out of steam.
-
Thar may be part of it, bit there was more to.it than that I think. As soon as the quick goal after half time went in they just seemed to give up. And key players didn't have a good game.

Just googled the vicar, don't recognise her at all. Have only started watching regularly in the last few weeks though.
-
I can't even think who the vicar is. Giles is brilliant.
The gay couple doing the how do gays do Jaws joke a couple of weeks ago cracked me up.
-
He was missing more or less the whole match, with the exception of passing to Sturridge (who's goal does deserve a mention, class finish). Just very disappointing. I don't mind losing well, but that was beyond lame in the second half.
-
What the hell happened to the team that played the first half? Liverpool were embarrassing second half.

Upon reflection I've concluded that staying in will mean missing most of the first half whilst being expected to help with kids bedtime. So pub it is.

So, I for one am looking forward to this evening. Although quite nervous for Liverpool. Loads riding on it, win and we're in the CL, lose and we're not in Europe at all. Could make a huge difference for attracting players this summer.

Reminded me of this (Arya at the end).

That's great (about them showing it free), will save me spending a load of cash I haven't got in the pub.

What Jah said. I'm not Terry fan, but I can't blame him for wanting to talk with the new gaffer before making a decision.
Gogglebox - for the love of Giles
