Dear James Wonder if you can help, there is a house in Ondine road, that I presume is empty, there is a big crack in the side wall, the roof is really slumped and the front garden is very overgrown causing the front garden wall to crack and bulge outwards, it looks like its getting pretty unsafe? Not sure if I need to contact someone?

The jar idea with holes sounds a good idea if you have pets. I've used Nippon liquid ant killer before, which worked really well. Its a thick gloop, I just put a little on top of a 2p coin, and the ants take it back to the nest.

I used to play tennis during spring and summer at the tennis courts at the Griffin. I've recently tried a couple of times and found them locked up. I was unable to find anyone with a key. Does anyone know how I can now book or gain access to the courts?

I've definately gone off this place too, I went a couple of Sundays ago for tea and cake, it was quarter to 12, and too early for lunch for me. They turned us away because even though they had cakes on display they were only serving people eating lunch. What I don't understand is they had quite a few empty tables, why refuse my money?
