  1. Hello all, I'm looking for someone to take my 2 year old border collie for a day, I'd like to drop him off in the morning before work and pick him up in the evening. Unfortunately I haven't got a date from work yet but it will be one day between The 17th to the 20th of september, I will know the end of next week. Any recommendations welcome
  2. Going on holiday this Monday and looking for somewhere to get a bikini line wax and full leg and who could fit me in short notice! Any recommendations?
  3. Hello all, I was just wondering if any one knew what sort of cars are the cheapest to insure for under 25's? I've looked at a few articles but they all seem to be cars that cost over 3,000 or more and if I could afford a car that price I wouldn't have trouble with insurance. Any advice appreciated (:
  4. I was in Sainsburys also about an hour ago and I have to say, that you have just completely exaggerated! Yes they told everyone to start leaving, so that they could put the shutters down. But there were no children screaming!? Anyway, I walked down lordship lane to get home and nearly every shop is closed or closing, so if anyone has plans to go there. I'd say dont bother.
  5. I live on goodrich road, right next to barry road and there are about 4/5 cars park outside our house with their mirrors broken as well. Fortunatly our car was in the drive way. Sorry to hear about yours.
  6. Ah this is most probably why. I have to go to the same place again next week, hopefully it will be all sorted by then.
  7. Yes that was exactly my thought StaferJack! I have to walk past the top of Barry road to get to Dulwich Library and there were no 40's there. Yeah there were about six 40's on the board all saying like 'due' '3 mins' '12 mins' all the way up to 35 mins! I did eventually get there in time, only just! But with no thanks to the 40 haha.
  8. I had to be at london bridge today at 2.30, I left my house at 12:50 and got to the bus stop(dulwich library) at 1:00. The board said the 40 was due in 17 minutes which was a pain but was the only bus I could get so i waited it out. I waited 45 minutes and gave up, had to get the 176 to elephant and castle and change. I know that the camberwell accident and road works have effected a few bus routes but at dulwich library everything is back on track. whats up with the 40!?
  9. Oh yeah, wickedstepmother. Thanks againa (:
  10. Thank you very much for the advice! Especially zeban. Was getting very fed up with comments saying 'well it hasn't happened to me!'
  11. Even if it was an 'athletic floppy haired hunk carrying an Iphone' If you make it obvious you do not want to be talking to them, it becomes a problem!
  12. I have been trying my best to ignore their comments and keep my head down, however last night I was coming home from a friends house and one man stopped me in the street. (he stood right infront of me so i had to stop) and said he'd seen me earlier in the day walking my dog (which is true) but of course I hadnt noticed him. He asked me my name and I know I should have made one up but I just wanted to get home and I told him my real name. As I walked away he started shouting my name and saying 'I'll see you again!' Now I am constantly worried about walking past this place incase this man shouts my name. I know I could get a 197 or a 12 to the top of the road but if Im in a hurry for work I dont want to be waiting around for a bus to go one stop.
  13. :I udnerstand this post was a little while ago now but I was wondering if anything was done about it? Because I too am being pestered by these men standing outside. I should feel safe walking to work, but no. I have to run past this place before these men whistle at me or shout vulgar things at me!
