  1. Time for my regular DHFC propaganda post...

Hamlet have won SEVEN games in a row and now sit four points clear at the top of the table. New Year's Day sees the eagerly awaited return of the local derby against Tooting & Mitcham, at Champion Hill.

It's a 3pm kick-off and we're expecting a crowd of about 1,000 so it should be a cracking atmosphere - and hopefully another three points for The Hamlet.

Entry is ?9 for adults, ?4 for concessions, and as usual under 12's are FREE if accompanied by a paying adult.

  2. A quick update for anyone who hasn't kept up with Hamlet's fortunes this season...

    - We still sit third in the league, a point off the top two of Maidstone and Hythe Town

    - The midfield magician Erhun Oztumer has scored 12 goals in 15 games and is making his name as one of the finest players to turn out for Hamlet (in recent years anyway)

    - We have a brand new website which now makes it easy for you to find upcoming fixtures and get yourself down to Champion Hill!

We are away to Arlesey Town in the 2nd qualifying round, who play in the Southern League Premier. Match to be played on Saturday 22nd September.

N.B. We had a home league game scheduled for 22/9 which is now postponed. The next home game is now Folkestone on Saturday 6th October.

  4. A quick update for anyone not following the results this season... DH have continued their form of last season, and won 4 our of their first 5 games (including the FA Cup preliminary game). We currently sit 3rd in the table, a point off the top two.

Home form has been excellent with 3 wins out of 3 and not a goal conceeded yet.

Highly recommend people get down to Champion Hill when they can. There aren't any home games for a couple of weeks as we keep getting drawn away in the cups, but that gives you a chance to make plans for the following forthcoming home fixtures:

Sat 22nd Sept - Hythe Town

    Sat 6th Oct - Folkestone

    Sat 20th Oct - Leatherhead

    Sat 27th Oct - Faversham

Good summary - after failing to score after all that pressure we were always vulnerable.

Ah well, time to concentrate on the league!

  6. We live at the end of Dunstans Road and use Honor Oak Park every day (I work in Canary Wharf, my partner near London Bridge). It's only a 15-20 minute walk, but even for relatively young, fit people that hill can be painful! An extension to the 63 route would certainly make our lives much easier.
  7. For those who aren't aware... Dulwich Hamlet have reached the Ryman League Cup Final for the first time in their history. The big match is tonight (Wednesday) against Wingate & Finchley, and is being played at Imber Court, the home of Met Police.

With the play-offs still in reach, could it be league and cup glory for DHFC this season?!

    Good luck to The Hamlet!
