I have also helped to prepare gap year students with no prior knowledge of Spanish for their travels around South America! Furthermore, I also used to run a French Language club in Dulwich. I also taught English as a foreign language in Barcelona. I have quit my job in Business Development at a FinTech startup in London and am now looking to tutor full time :). I believe the reason lots of children lack motivation when it comes to languages, is that they can?t see past the exams. Studying languages has opened up the world to me, and I?m able to pass on this zest for the language through my teaching! Usual areas to work on include reading/writing/listening/speaking skills. Hi everyone, just want to see to see if anyone would like spanish tutoring for their children! I'm in year thirteen of James Allen's Girls School and I study French, Spanish and Theatre Studies. I obtained 11 gcses - all As and A stars. For my A levels I am predicted two As, and an A star in Spanish. In October I am going to Exeter University to study French and Spanish. I babysit for a few families, last summer I worked for three weeks as a Team Leader at AVP sports camps at DCPS, last year I set up a Spanish club at Kingswood primary school and I taught there once a week for two terms. I have also taken part in a Saturday morning literacy scheme for underprivelidged kids, so I have plenty of experience with children. I believe that my passion for the Spanish language and culture, followed by my excellent organizational and communication skills will help me to be a worthwile tutor for your children. I am very patient and sensitive to a child's pace and style of learning, and I hope that I can help your child acheive his very best in Spanish. I can tutor up to GCSE level.
