I find it fascinating that people on here can be

Snide you say. Well pot calling kettle black in terms of judge and jury. My remark was NOT snide.
I will accept your apology though.

I read Messi said he wanted to do it for the Celtic fans. He is also homing in on Gerd Muller's all time record number of goals scored in a calender year.

So is 4 points like a 'mini maxxi' or perhaps a 'mick'?
-
Given you support Celtic I guess you don't know anything about football either Mick!

FA Cup Final day.

I hope you don't get marked down for spelling.

They've changed it now.

How the hell can the BBC website say it's at OT?
-
Well that explains it. In this case Spurs still had the ball so he stopped play to punish them and Bale. If Fulham had the ball I presume he could have waited to give the card.
-
Still not a foul though. A foul has to involve another player. There was no question of Bale having fouled the Fulham player.
-
Not all bookable offences are fouls though. Think of abusive language for eg. I'd have though the ref would have let play continue and at the next break in play go back and book the player.
-
Bale booked for diving again. I didn't think he did but what puzzled me from watching the highlights is that the ref appeared to stop play and give a free kick against him. What law/rule covers that?

LadyG, do they serve sherry at the Emirates?

Great win for England but Chris Ashton is still a plonker.

Made me check the details but I was at the 1984 semi Man U v Juventus. Was working in Manchester and got a ticket at face value just before k.o. Juve had Rossi, Platini and Boniek. 1-1 draw. Sadly the United scorer was a little known guy called Alan Davies who some years later comitted suicide.

I think your post Nathan is about as weird as the bottles and suspect that you are probably the guilty party. Is there a prize for guessing this correctly?

Has he mentioned what he wants for Christmas yet?

If you can't beat them, join them. You've opened your own carpet shop haven't you?

Much better to go straight to the Lost & Found section. There you will get accurate details of what the cat looks like and where it can be found. Finders keepers!

Jeez Woody, you are a drama queen. Why not say 'Crap things on Ebay'?

That's the sort of attitude that pisses people off. What if car drivers went through red lights when it was 'safe' to do so? Is that okay?
