  1. Don't give up your day job Bob.
  2. Especially as a man of the church and supposedly a pillar of the community.
  3. Dulwich Fox for PM.
  4. @zt - the man was a paedophile, the definition of which is a person sexually attracted to children, the same as Glitter and Savile. Maybe he didn't do the same things as they did but he is one. If he had been in possession of say 1 video, maybe just maybe it could have been explained away as trying to understand the subject in connection with his work but to be in possession of over 30. No way. That is a sexual thing.
  5. Why? Sorrow and grief at the death of a human being, whatever the circumstances or for his victims, victims although not directly touched by him but by his actions in viewing videos? 6. 1st time poster klaxon sounding! suzieb Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > intresting read this thread .One thing i have > noticed is that the person it is about has not > posted .I for one would like to hear the another > side of the story but as its a private matter > between the two parties it has nothing to do with > me and has no place on a public forum for that > matter .Its beyond me how the admins allow such > actions ,in my opinion this thread should be > closed in the intrest of the parties involved .but > hey i guess it gives people something to do .
  7. I am certainly not a christian. Having been a long time church goer in the past (15+ years) I came to realise that the church, be it CoE or RC, is not in any way attached to reality. I am not putting down anyones choice to believe in what or who they want, it's just my personal choice and thoughts. It is very rare for me to post serious comments on this forum but I stand by what I say. The man, regardless of whether he has a family or not, preyed on children simply by being in possession of the images. The church is complicit in condoning his actions by covering it up. As je-suis-concerned says, why do people still feel the need to protect him? Savile also did much good for charities etc. raising millions of pounds and you don't hear anyone protecting him. 8. I think that the apparent hiding of this case by the church is typical of the attitude of that organisation; that nothing bad can be done by members of the clergy, despite repeated examples of it. Otherwise why would they hide it? I agree with Penguin. His guilt, and you have to assume that he was guilty if images were found on his computer, is not lessened by the fact that no known physical contact with children was ever made. He viewed something that is abhorrent and so encouraged it. I'm surprised that this time it's the church of England. I thought that it was always the RC's that indulged in this. Shame he wasn't an RC priest - I always understood that suicide is a mortal sin and he would be burning in hell right now and deservedly so.

  11. Quote from the Mail article: ?We are all flawed human beings and it is helpful, no matter what the circumstances of a person?s life or death, for those who knew them to be able to pray for them.? That will be a huge comfort to any victims of his. Fekkin church. In a world of it's own.

And try and get a salesman who is a bit older. These young whippersnappers are all push push push. morlewil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That would be nice, but unfortunately not until > those six numbers come up!
