  1. Model number 96874780ZD Excellent condition - was actually stored in attic as we had a dog and wanted to use the back. Had car accident and car written off so now no need for rear shelf! Several on eBay for £60-100. Collect from Forest Hill. Contact 07972 368 261
  2. We have just acquired a new puppy, 8weeks old. Looking for others in the area with puppies similar age to meet Dulwich, Greenwich, Beckenham after 12 week jab so that puppies can play together a bit, and have a friend to walk with sometimes. Please let me know if you are interested 07972 368 261
  3. Hi, the company I used to use for airport drop off and pick up has really gone downhill since covid. Anybody got a recommendation for a local company with professional, smart drivers, nice cars, reliable?
  4. Happy to recommend Sakura - Matt did an excellent job, and at a reasonable price.
  5. Steve came and fixed our dishwasher too. He was quick to come over, super quick to fix it. All good, and very happy that we no longer have to wash up by hand!
  6. Please contribute to help the people of Ukraine https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ukraineneedsyourhelp?utm_term=6bnvZdMv8
  7. Out this morning in Dulwich Park we saw a dog trailing a lead running around the park in blind panic. Looked lost. We tried several times to catch it but it was too scared to even stop running. Worried it is lost (or dumped?). Looked like a Basenji.
  8. Hi All, The East Dulwich Jews are REFORM, mostly couples with youngish kids, all couples are half Jewish, half not - we are a very mixed bunch! Anyway, we are hosting a Passover Seder on Saturday. If you are Jewish, or in a part-Jewish set up, and you want to come along, please PM
  9. There is no need to KILL them! Poison and traps are inhumane. Go to toolstation, buy a plug in - it deters rodents and insects using electromagnetic waves that are safe for pets and children. Much kinder, permanent solution.
  10. Hi Everyone, Harvey is 11 weeks old, he has had all his vaccinations, he loves people, and children, and he has started going for walks - all he needs now are some puppy playmates. We are looking for local puppy parties OR people with puppies a similar age, who also want to socialise them with other dogs a similar age, rather than rely on the big dogs we meet in the park - some of whom are rough, and also quite badly behaved, in fact one bit Harvey just yesterday, on his second day out - NOT GOOD! :-( Please get in touch :-) Sarah, Sabina, Julius, and Harvey
  11. CATFORD! We live in Forest Hill but Catford is much edgier / cooler - try the Catford Constitutional Club if you don't believe me :-)
  12. I see Robert Stanford, now known as Robert Stanford Estates, has set up shop in Catford - how sad to see that on their glorious new shop front they can't even SPELL Forest Hill!!
  13. The Honor Oak has been refurbed and opens for business today. We stopped by yesterday to check it out, as it looked really nice. The new owner was there and we asked if it was a gastro pub - he reacted as if that was an insult, and informed us that it is most definitely not a gastro pub (apparently that is 'old hat'), it is a 'british dining concept' - ha ha, needless to say on the basis of that pretentious and unfriendly 'welcome' we will giving it a miss!!
  14. The Spin Doctor has helped us out twice now - once when our own washing machine broke down and once when the dishwasher in our rental property wasn't working. Both times great service, fixed the problem and reasonable price. Definitely would recommended :-)
  15. Hi All, I have a 5 year old. I'm from Florida, been living in London since 2004. Would love to meet up with ya'll.
  16. Hi, If you're Jewish, have young kids and are interested in meeting up with the EDJs for Chanukah this year please private message me. We light the Menorah, sing songs and play dreidel. The kids are from 0-5 years old. Happy Early Chanukah ya'll.
  17. Couldn't agree more - that is just about the most logical, unbiased, reasonable comment I have ever seen on this subject!
  18. If your son is old enough for a house share then why not let HIM figure out what to do with his plastic bags???
  19. Hee Hee, I agree. Hot coals are not going to jump or spill out of one of those BBQ's, and we're not exactly talking poisonous fumes are we! As long as people leave as they find, I say live and let live. What really annoys me is people who have a picnic and then just get up and leave all their crisp bags and empty bottles for the 'litter fairies' to clear away. PS if a child is dumb enough to run over to a complete stranger and then fall onto a BBQ well....ever heard of contributory negligence???
