Hi there I'm looking for some to help me move this coming Friday 27th from SE22 to SE23, about a 5 min drive. There's not much in way of stuff at all - a van slightly bigger than a transit ought to do. The bigger items are a double mattress, a sideboard and a futon style sofa bed that's been taken apart. Hello I have a BMW Estate 3 series on a 52 plate that I've decided to scrap. Has anyone used any local scrapping, or 'we buy any car' type services (other than those advertised nationally) you could recommend? Thanks.

I'd also like to add a recommendation for Bridges. Steve and his colleague moved us from ED to Bristol and as others have mentioned they worked all day, were very friendly and helpful and the cost was competitive. Also, all packing materials were delivered to us well in advance of the move and as agreed. Just the kind of service you need to make moving hassle free. Will definitely use Steve again when we realise what a huge mistake we've made moving to Bristol from London!

We used VP removals last night. They helped us collect what turned out to be a really heavy sofa bed at very short notice for a good price. Vitek and Peter are two great guys, really helpful and got on with the job with no fuss at all. Big clean van too. Can highly recommend. Thanks
