I'm wearing shorts and t-shirt regardless...

I think it does that until the clocks go back, presume it's been set up by someone living abroad -1 hour...

I was a student in Scotland when the '89 game was on, watched it with an Arsenal supporting mate in the student union bar. I don't think I've ever celebrated more a non-Utd goal than that night, real edge of the seat stuff. Definitely had a top up afterwards...

Is this the first time top-flight football has been shown on a Friday?
No, there have been quite a few games in the past held on a Friday.
The last one, outside of Bank Holidays of course, was the match between Arsenal and Newcastle United at Highbury in September 2003.
Two goals from Thierry Henry and another from Gilberto Silva guided the Gunners, in their 'Invincibles' season, to a 3-2 win.
The first live Friday night game is believed to be Tottenham's First Division match with Manchester United, which was broadcast by the BBC in 1983.
And Arsenal's famous 2-0 win at Liverpool in 1989, when a last-minute goal from Michael Thomas handed them the league title, was played on a Friday night and shown on ITV.

Tonight's Villa v Utd match is the first Friday night PL game I believe, should be a cracking atmosphere.
A pain for travelling away fans, but no different really to a mid-week game.
Think it will be a big success TV wise with the Friday night office drinkers, so might become a regular event...

Probably, I used to live near Vauxhall, so the arches and Club UK were 'locals' :)

And there was one along Picadilly down in the basement, about half way along on left hand side going towards Green Park, anyone know?...

I arrived in Ldn in early summer '95, spoilt for choice tended to cherry pick 'nights' rather than a club per se.
The ones that I remember as I type...
Club For Life @ Gardening Club
Renaissance @ The Cross
Clockwork Orange (post Ibiza crowd) @ The Cross
Oakenfold @ Velvet Underground
Sasha & Digweed @ MoS
Mr C @ The End
Brian Norman 'Fresh n Funky' @ Various (worked with his girlfriend so went to them a lot)
If I could've been in Ldn at another time it would've been Danny Rampling @ Shoom Club in the late 80's, hard to beat the early days of acieeeeeed... :)

If you're coming down FHR you must be approaching it either from Honor Oak Road or Honor Oak Park? If so, just stay on the Honor Oak side of the railway track (Garthorne/Grierson Rd) and cross over at Brockley Way and wind your way down through Nunhead towards Peckham Rye...

Agree Jah. Can you imagine how much Mourinho would've flipped had Swansea scored whilst Hazard was rolling around feigning injury and not getting treatment? And then there's the whole 'down to 9 men' thing while Hazard had to go off and wait to come back on, errrrrr excuse me Jose, but as soon as Hazard pretended to be injured you were already down to 9 men. He's the one who deserved a rollicking. Not often I say this but I hope City scoosh them this weekend. On a positive note, refreshing to hear Pulis say he got it tactically wrong against City and not come up with a load of excuses...

Very good, but none of this explains your earlier statement that it doesn't matter how a state owned company like EDF makes it's profit. I reckon to Corbyn and to large number of his likely voters it does, as it would if it was found out that sweatshops were part of the manufacturing/production chain of state run company, as it would if it was found out a state owned company was dealing in illegal arms, etc etc...

Spoken like a true Capitalist :)
Of course it matters. I know, let's have a state owned company that makes profit on the back of Far East sweatshops too...

Or you could split the difference on what you can get locally on the high street...
If Med's son went to the PO he'd get about ?650 for his E1,0000.
If SB went to the PO he'd have to pay about ?725 for his E1,0000.
Split = ?687.50

Keep it simple SB, E1,0000 = ?700...

Doesn't a lot of that profit come from nuclear produced energy? Something I imagine that doesn't sit comfortably with Corbyn and young idealistic voters...
