  8. They got their Xmas present from us yesterday Mick..;-) I'm not convinced about Lennon becoming Celtic manager, the next managerial appointment for the Bhoys is critical, especially when you factor in that in 2011 only the SPL champions can enter the CL qualifying round...

  10. Is there a better feeling than putting the Bertie Bitters back in their box?...probably not ''Blue Moon, you started bragging too soon...'' :)) ''One Nil, in your Council House, One Nil, in your Council House...'' :)):)) ''He scores goals my Lord, he scores goals. He scores goals my Lord, he scores goals. He scores goals my Lord, he scores goals. Paul Scholes he scores goals'' :)):)):)) COME ON YOU SPURS!

You reinforce my point exactly Matthew, the level of expectancy on Citeh to perform well will ramp up 10-fold next season, even opposition fans expect it! With that comes the pressure, it's how a club as a whole manages that pressure, Garry Cock's rantings don't help and the managerial merry-go-round could become farcical, the owner needs to appoint a manager and let them get on with it, Abramovich screwed up getting rid of Mourinho...'world class signings' isn't necessarily a solution, this often means other first team players sitting on the bench, would players like Tevez go back to being a small fish in a big pond?...personally I don't mind Citeh doing well (winning silverware excluded), it's reinvigorated traditional rivalries and I expect Manchester as a whole to become the dominant force in domestic football :)
  16. I love the jumps, but betting wise prefer the flat, any thoughts/ante-post bets on the Guineas/Derby, this is the time for value before the trials are over...
  17. There's nothing wrong with being optimistic BlueRev, but next season Citeh fans (and owners) will expect success, and that's when the pressure kicks in...
  18. Get with it Bluey, why do you think I put '' around neutral, of course I wanted Spurs to win, nothing to do with L'Arse though, more them getting 4th place instead of the Bitters...35 years, Tick Tock
  19. You can't begrudge Spurs fans a bit of glory Mick, especially after a ten year wait to beat L'Arse in the league. As a 'neutral' it was a great game to watch, I was surprised at Spurs' energy levels after having to play on that pitch...after his dodgy start Gomes is looking a lot better, and Bale looks the business...Evra's eventual replacement Jah ;-)

  25. Hmmmm...the post-european matches 'analysis' makes for an interesting read...it's funny how a certain Liverpool supporter feels more obliged to talk about Utd losing and the psychological state of our manager, but says nothing about his own team winning...very strange, maybe someone needs to assess their own psychological state of mind? :) I'd like to echo KPC's big-up for Roy Hodgson. I'd also throw in Big Eck and Tony Pullis. BlueRev: Is G&T all the rage in Stockport these days? ;-)
