Hello, I'm looking for a good cleaner with local recommendations that can take on cleaning and laundry for two days a week, around 3 and 2 hours respectively. Is there anybody who has worked for you and you'd be happy to recommend? Many thanks!

Another recommendation for Pure view. I originally contracted them to do one wardrobe and ended up having three made! They were polite, they listened to ideas, had great suggestions, quality materials and attention to detail. Really pleased with the outcome.

I don't set foot on the begging bowl because I am close to some of their ex-staff and I know first hand about the treatment they've received.

I would thoroughly recommend The Great Exhibition pub. They have a jazz band playing on sunday, and the food is gorgeous. Get there in good time, though, as it gets really busy!

My lovely cleaner just left, and I would like to find a substitute. Is there anyone you would recommend? I have had a succession of cleaners, the last of whom just left. Some of them have been truly wonderful, and it really makes a difference to everyone in this house. I would like to find someone trustworthy and consistently thorough to help keep this house in check: wooden floors to vacuum and wash, dusting, kitchen, bathroom. The occasional extras such as oven or fridge or windows, but these can be scheduled within the allocated time on some days. Occasionally, bed changing and putting the wash on. Many thanks!
