I got a bike today. Sincerely I did not think it was stolen. When I got home I saw a crack on the frame and tried contacting the seller and could not reach him anymore. When that happened I googled his number and ended up here. The guy selling it did not look bad or like he was on drugs or anything. I checked the serial number on the net before buying too and nothing came up. He said he also bought the bike on gumtree. It came from the same phone number mentioned here so now I am suspecting it may have been a stolen bike. It is a specialized Elite 2011. I am willing to return to the owner if he can provide me with the serial number of the bike.
