  1. Just thought I'd add to this thread, I recently started going to the bootcamp sessions held by Darren and his team in Streatham and they are excellent! Really friendly and welcoming. I've now swapped over to the Peckham Rye groups because they are closer to me, they are also great fun and an intensive (but totally doable) workout. I've always felt a bit intimidated by the on mass outdoor exercise groups before but I can promise this one is great and I recommend it highly.
  2. hey....don't know if anyone has mentioned these places BUT I love Bar-story in Peckham its under the arches has a really cool laid back vibe, has a Sunday market selling indie things and brick-a-brack! There?s the Amersham arms in New cross some happenings keep an eye on it for worthwhile stuff going on, can be a bit studenty. THEN in Camberwell you've got Hermits Cave which is proper mix of art students, locals and mentalists in a good old fashioned boozer! Also in Camberwell there is the Tiger and the Gran Union. Plus as recently featured on the culture show...The New London Gallery, which is a bar and a gallery. Ooooo and I almost forgot to mention the brilliant Lido in Brockwell park! For swimming and sunshine! I know most of this isn't in ED but to be honest round here (as much as I love it) its more of a yummy mummy than Hoxton hipster. There are loads of lovely places in ED but the ones I've mentioned above are the arty/indie hangouts as far as I know :-)
