Hi, I need an independent kitchen designer to help ordering a diy-kitchens.com kitchen. I'm not confident to order and that I'll get everything right. I've had a big kitchen company do a design so I'm reasonably certain of what I want I just need a pro to measure up, and place the order so I have some assurance that it all fits and the builder has no shocks when he begins the refurbishment. Does anyone know anyone or had any experience of diy-kitchens.com? Cheers Justin

Randomly I used Leah from a firm on south wales - Greame John limited. They were very reasonable and they service she provided was excellent. I would happily recommend them if you want the details.

I've fallen in love with a super expensive Plain English kitchen. I can't afford it. (it's the Osea kitchen if you're interested). Anyway - I've heard that local carpenters might be able to replicate it at a cheaper cost - has anyone ever had a kitchen made like this, or know anyone that has? How much would I likely have to spend on a replica? Also I note that Plain English have started doing a 'budget' brand - 'British Standard' . Anyone ever seen this? Apparently they have to be painted yourself and was wondering how this might look as this kitchen actually seems really nice if I cant have the Osea.... cheers, J

Does anyone know what happened to Locale? It looks as though it's shut? Such a shame if it is, I had only just discovered their 1/2 steak night Mondays! Anyone know any news?

I lice just around the corner (Silvester Road). I really don't see a problem with these new hours. I doubt they will stay open until 2 of all three days. It just means they can if they want.
