If anyone is looking for someone to carry out stone masonry/repair work I can truly recommend Danny of DL Restoration (07889 636027). We found him via My Builder and he did an amazing job fixing the decorative mouldings and rendering on the front portico of our Victorian terraced house. The mouldings had been butchered by a previous owner and were generally in very poor condition. They looked beyond repair to me but Danny did an amazing job fixing them and making them look original again. He is also a genuinely nice guy, a good communicator, turned up when he said he would etc. and worked really hard to get an amazing result.

A huge recommendation for Paul. We managed to delete our entire iPhoto library and emptied the trash can (don't ask...five years' worth of pictures of our children and no back up...). Paul managed to recover the data from the hard drive (a specialist data recovery job that was beyond most other computer specialists we spoke to) and went beyond the call of duty to sort them all out by month and year so we weren't left with a huge mess (all 20,000 of them!). He also replaced and upgraded the hard drive after spotting it was starting to fail. And all this for a very reasonable price. Oh, and he picked up and dropped off the computer too! Very pleased!!

Carpenter/joiner required to hang a few doors (including double doors and floor to ceiling fire door). Must have experience of SOSS hinges and parliament/projection hinges. Just wanted to recommend painter/decorator Richard Bond (07984146615). We used him for some internal paintwork in our house after finding him through recommendations on the ED forum. He is reliable, turns up on time, works hard and to a high standard (and is a nice guy too).
