  1. For this Saturday (22nd) afternoon. Please PM or respond to this post if you have any recommendations. Many thanks
  2. Agree with the above. Lou is absolutely lovely and his spin painting and t-shirt printing so exciting for children! Ours had a fab time for their parties. You can see some examples here: http://www.capturedontherye.com Cannot recommend enough :-)
  3. I would strongly recommend Thai Vedic and Stephen. Most professional and caring service, unbeatable price. Book with confidence and do so quickly, slots fill up in a flash!
  4. I would strongly recommend Thai-vedic massage. Stephen is extremely professional, approachable and dedicated. His prices are great value for money, difficult to find such offers in the area. Book your treatment and you won't be disappointed, the best in town!
  5. Hello, I am looking for a Spanish speaking babysitter on Saturday mornings. Any recommendation greatly appreciated!
  6. Hi Georgina, I don't know them but had best experiences with AA Service repairs. Cheap, quick and mega-efficient. [email protected] Good luck!

  8. Balance 4 Life is the answer! AJ is lovely, there are plenty of reviews and recommendations for her on the ED forum. You can email her on [email protected] Please mention that you were given her address by Ari
  9. Hello, I'm about to adopt a kitten and would need recommendations for a good local vet. Many thanks
  10. Hello, You should definitively try SE22 Piano: http://www.se22piano.co.uk They are very popular, probably the most popular in the area. I know Lorraine, she is real passionate about her teaching and music events. You may have noticed the Dulwich Music Festival and the many recitals she organises in the area. Worth giving a look at her FBook page, as well: https://www.facebook.com/SE22PianoSchool Hope this helps
  11. Hello, Our old boiler left us for good so we have no hot water. We should definitively replace it. I completed a form for one of those deals currently offered on the internet but have heard that independent engineers are far better value. Has anyone had any good experience and could recommend one? Many thanks
  12. Hello mums and dads, We now have a football-in-French class and upcoming French speaking ballet sessions. More parents are joining, please feel free to drop me a message if you wish to find out more. Many thanks Ari
  13. Hello, I am looking for a mobile hairdresser at reasonable rates. I followed some advice from other threads in the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for. A student would be fine, I don't need anything fancy :-) Many thanks
  14. Try MacLaren VOLO. It's ultra-light and has a strap to carry it like a shoulder bag. Happy to show you mine!
  15. Hi Liann, Are you looking at offering babysitting services? I regret that it is not what we are doing at the moment but thank you for your interest. Best Ari
  16. Thank you for your messages everyone! Please keep getting in touch, we are building up a lovely group :-)
  17. Hi Nancy, Thank you for all the information. As I was mentioning above, I thought of this initiative because I am unable to join these groups (I work full-time) and would prefer to create a more natural situation, instead of entering a class. I believe that children have to play together to develop interest in the language. I would be very happy if you joined us - a good way for you to boost your French, as well! I'll PM my email address so you can get in touch with me and the others. We should meet this Wednesday pm/evening if you are free. Hopefully speak soon Ari
  18. Hi Valerie, Thank you for your message. It didn't work on the first play date but that was expected and the very reason why I thought to launch this initiative. Children use the vocabulary they have. If their children's world is in English (because they attend an English speaking nursery or school) they won't be able to express it in another language. I would like Patrick to have that vocabulary in French, too. Funny, he also prefers cartoons and nursery rhymes in French. So, fancy joining us some time? Ari
  19. We had our first "French play date" last week. Would anyone else fancy joining us?
  20. Hello, I am contacting all of you via PM. We can perhaps exchange contact details and hopefully meet soon :-)
