Agree with the above. Lou is absolutely lovely and his spin painting and t-shirt printing so exciting for children! Ours had a fab time for their parties. You can see some examples here: http://www.capturedontherye.com Cannot recommend enough :-)

Any body know a good piano teacher for a 13 year old.
iaietta replied to mpd's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, You should definitively try SE22 Piano: http://www.se22piano.co.uk They are very popular, probably the most popular in the area. I know Lorraine, she is real passionate about her teaching and music events. You may have noticed the Dulwich Music Festival and the many recitals she organises in the area. Worth giving a look at her FBook page, as well: https://www.facebook.com/SE22PianoSchool Hope this helps -
Boiler replacement - recommendation needed
iaietta replied to iaietta's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Lovely, thank you so much! -
Hello, Our old boiler left us for good so we have no hot water. We should definitively replace it. I completed a form for one of those deals currently offered on the internet but have heard that independent engineers are far better value. Has anyone had any good experience and could recommend one? Many thanks

Any recommendations for a cheap mobile hairdresser?
iaietta posted a topic in Request a Tradesperson
Hello, I am looking for a mobile hairdresser at reasonable rates. I followed some advice from other threads in the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for. A student would be fine, I don't need anything fancy :-) Many thanks -
buggy advice - I need a narrow one that's easy to fold

Try MacLaren VOLO. It's ultra-light and has a strap to carry it like a shoulder bag. Happy to show you mine! -
Hi Nancy, Thank you for all the information. As I was mentioning above, I thought of this initiative because I am unable to join these groups (I work full-time) and would prefer to create a more natural situation, instead of entering a class. I believe that children have to play together to develop interest in the language. I would be very happy if you joined us - a good way for you to boost your French, as well! I'll PM my email address so you can get in touch with me and the others. We should meet this Wednesday pm/evening if you are free. Hopefully speak soon Ari

Hi Valerie, Thank you for your message. It didn't work on the first play date but that was expected and the very reason why I thought to launch this initiative. Children use the vocabulary they have. If their children's world is in English (because they attend an English speaking nursery or school) they won't be able to express it in another language. I would like Patrick to have that vocabulary in French, too. Funny, he also prefers cartoons and nursery rhymes in French. So, fancy joining us some time? Ari
