  2. Hi I'm looking for a super organised EA / Office manager to work in a brilliant Creative Business (a School) in Brixton. The job would really suit someone local, who has worked for a creative agency, working with the senior management team. Maybe an experienced EA who has left the industry and had family, but is now looking to return to work somewhere more local to home. Please PM me for more details. The job is 5 days a week 9-5.30 - With Wednesdays from Home - mainly term time - so outside of School hours you can be based from home. Thanks tom
  3. Does anyone Andrew?? I have found his wallet on the fields at Dulwich sports ground - please let him know and i can arrange collection

  5. Hi I've lived in Dulwich for 15 years and love it. Recently I took a role to help run a brilliant School for Communications in Brixton - http://schoolcommunicationarts.com/ Without blowing our own trumpet we are regarded as one of the best Schools for communication arts in the world. Our students all have a desire to work in the creative industries, as creatives (Art Directors / Copywriters, Creative directors) and our course fast tracks students into fantastic jobs (in all types of different agencies, but also tech companies and blue chips), after the course almost all our alumni get brilliant jobs (even in the covid era) We currently have 20 Scholarships to offer, to fully cover the fees on our online course (thanks to local councils in Southwark,Lambeth, Lewisham and Wandsworth) There are some conditions set by the fund providers. 1. If in work, you must be earning under 25K and have less than 5k in savings 2. From the Schools perspective we are looking for really brilliant talented creative individuals, who are passionate about working within the agency industry. There is a formal application process. 3. You must be over 18 (current students range from 19 to 34) 4. You must live in one of the 4 boroughs mentioned. We do not require any particular qualifications and we actively support applications from people from all disadvantaged, or minority backgrounds. It's possible to do the online course and to stay working too (though that is a tough option) Intakes are after Easter, and September. Please help to share the good news, and if you are interested in applying, PM me in the first instance an we can take it from there. Good luck! I hope this is of interest.
  6. Looks like everyone in the effected area needs to move there cars on Monday. Utterly crazy. Not helping the isolation and must affect 100s of vehicles. Surely this can be stopped. Great to see the parking police out in force too. Surely that?s not essential??
  7. A big bunch of keys found with a photo of the owner on key fob. I found them while walking the dog today PM me and I'll arrange to get back to you
  8. Having lived in ED for 12 years. For 11 parking was totally fine. But the last 12 months have been getting worse and worse. Much as i hate the idea to pay to park (especially when you look at the costs of permits), i can't really see another option. For me it definitely commuters, more recently builders (Charter, Alleyns, Jags. Then the squeeze from other parking schemes as they roll out. Its set to get worse with the New Charter opening, and the health centre. Plus the extension of double yellow lines on every conrer in the area. Over Xmas and New year it was absolutely fine (as it always is) - so the cars clogging the streets are clearly not residents.(Yes I appreciate some residents were away too, but a lot were home) The Herne Hill Scheme seems to work a treat. How can we get one? PS. I'm a cyclist, and a runner, I use the bus and train (but I like the option of using a car too when needed). Don't hate me.
  9. get in touch with "the spin doctor" hes based in brixton and excellent
  10. Ive been getting virgin free (just broadband) for 9 months. Just complain (if you can bothered to stick it out) - they say the Se22 issuse will be fixed in May....
  11. If you are disabled (or become disabled) you can get a spot. My neighbour had one - when they moved away, we wrote to Southwark council (with my neighbours approval) and the space was removed (much like most of ED very limited parking where I live + there are 2 others on my street, which were unused most of the time)
  12. bit of a pain 3 pairs of welly boots - including a pair for a 6 year old - nicked from glengarry road today plus a pretty heavy iron welly stand probably a bit daft to keen them outside the front door - but i'm a bit of a trusting sole (well i was) don't suppose anyone happened to see anything? Not the sort of thing you can easily move in broad daylight.
  13. Dulwich Squash Club - Burbage road. Very friendly - big league, caters for all standards (even mine) Website is currently down - but you'll get all the info here http://www.dulwichsquash.co.uk/
