Music Aptitude Test Training Group Session with Claire Harris on 24th July. 2 spaces remaining. This session is designed to help Year 4, 5 and 6 musicians prepare for the upcoming Music Scholarships for 2019 state secondary admissions. The session will focus on Music Aptitude Test training - this test is the first round of the selective music intake process. There will be a maximum of 5 participants per session. Want to learn a bit more about what goes into a great cocktail? Come along to this workshop and learn how to make your own cocktail bitters - a key ingredient in many classic drinks! Batch Bar on Peckham Rye are hosting this workshop and will be providing a cocktail for all attendees to try with three different flavours of bitters. Then you will learn how to make bitters at home, choose a flavour, and make your own bottle. Wednesday 23rd, 7.30pm. ?20pp including cocktail and all equipment. This afternoon workshop is suitable for theory students of all levels. The ABRSM theory exam is approaching on June 16th so it is a perfect chance to prepare and feel confident before taking the test. If you are not sitting an exam, but just want to brush up on your theory skills, there will be group activities as well as individual tuition. Suitable for all theory levels - beginners welcome.

Hi there! You can use bitters in any of your favourite mixed drinks, they are there to add flavour and depth so you can experiment away! Old Fashioned, Dark and Stormy or Pink Gin are all good places to start. At the workshop we will cover some more classic drinks you can make using bitters, and we'll have a variety of flavours to choose from, depending on your taste. Hope to see you there!
