I had a home COVID test in May delivered and collected by a courier. The second home test in December was delivered by Amazon. Are postal deliveries dire all over the country or is the Peckham office particularly appalling?

I contacted the RM CEO yesterday and received 9 items of post about an hour ago!

Still no post! I have received two items of post in nearly a month!

I live on one of the roads mentioned by garages2018 and the service has been abysmal since Silvester rd closed as we were at the end of the new walks. The postie we had at the time said that they had longer walks but, as they had to come from Peckham, they had less time for deliveries. Instead of starting where they had finished the next day, they would go back to the beginning of their walk! I have received two items of post in nearly 4 weeks. However, tracked parcels were all out for delivery as they are the office?s priority.

I think Parcel Force deals with the heavier parcels sent from post offices.

I have received the first delivery in three weeks: a bank statement, nothing else! Apparently, a lot of mail is still sitting in boxes unsorted. And the price of stamps is shooting up!

I emailed the regional and the local managers as my road has had no post for more than 2 weeks. 12% of the staff off sick, some temps are not turning up and the volume of plat is up by 67%. I pointed out that Christmas should be planned for and that Covid and the increase in online shopping that has come with it had been going on long enough to plan for. Remember, folks, the price of stamps is increasing very soon!

The Pellatt rd postie is apparently off sick and his walk is not being covered!

I contacted the manager at Highshore road telling him that 6 tracked parcels were missing and that I had not had post since Monday. He replied telling me that he had found a number of my parcels in the frame for my address to be delivered today. Nothing yet! According to him the delay is ?due to resourcing issues and traffic volumes we are alternate between walks working through clearance.?His words, not mine...

I am now missing 6 tracked parcels!! Impressive...
