  1. Oh dear! I started this thread to warn East Dulwich people about the mutilated cat found locally. I know the personal n whose kitten it was and have now met the lovely lady who suffered the horror of finding the dead kitten. If any of you see anything suspicious, you are right to put it here. Snarl and the police want as much info as possible. I can confirm that the police are taking it seriously and do follow up calls made to them regarding these horrible attacks. I organised the delivery of the leaflets and have been overwhelmed by the new mover of you who responded to my call for volunteers. Let's hope that this thread can soon be closed as this person needs to be caught adapt.
  2. Someone saw some cubes of raw chicken on the corner of EDGrove and Melbourne, please let me know if you see such a thing again, please. Thank you.
  3. NewWave, I will see if I have any left over when the area has been covered.. Good idea, though. Thank you.
  4. Please also post this on the list and found section. When did you last see him? Please keep us updated... You could also most it on the 'cat owners, be alert' thread.
  5. Mine are out during the day but I keep them in from early evening.
  6. Joo16, that is interesting so thank you for flagging it up. I would like to thank all the lovely volunteers who have been distributing the Snarl leaflets and look forward to hearing from those I have not met yet. I am really grateful to you all.
  7. Mrsilencio, please, please ring 101. The cats get caught by someone offering them food. Well done for being so vigilant.
  8. For those of you concerned about the leaflets I can reassure you that there are no disturbing images on it.
  9. That is even more sick than I thought.
  10. Hi. Several of you have offered to deliver leaflets so could any of you deliver to one (or more) of the following roads: Landcroft, Bawdale, Hansler, Fellbrigg, Shawbury, North Cross, Darrell and Hindsman roads. I have the leaflets and would be grateful for any help as I am on crutches. I live on Pellatt rd. Do PM me if you can help with even one of those roads, Thank you.
  11. The number is around 50 and foxes have also been targeted as well as rabbits.
  12. The police have a dedicated unit dealing with this which is good to know..
  13. There is already a thread on the forum about it: cat on ears, be alert. Thank you for this though...
  14. I chatted to you last night when you were putting posters up. I am SO pleased you got your cat back, particularly with that lunatic around. Have you removed the posters?
  15. Thank goodness. It must have been such a worry, particularly knowing the cat killer has struck in ED.
  16. Lauraaja, I will PM you when I know where Snarl need the leaflets delivered. Thank you for your offer.
  17. I now have lots of leaflets delivered to me by someone from Snarl if any of you are interested..
  18. Thank you all for great ideas on where to warn people. I will ask the lovely people at the Silvester Rd sorting office to put a leaflet up too. Please warn people in any way you can. According to the Sunday Times, there have been more than 50 incidents so far. The post Mortensen done on 8 cats have shown that they were all killed by the same person.
  19. selondonjournal that is brilliant. Thank you.
  20. Bethdate, thank you. I think that means that the RSPCA got the wrong road when they told the owner her cat was found in Pellatt rd. I think the cat you saw was the one I posted about when I started this thread. I will contact you about helping with leaflets. Thank you for the offer.
  21. I live in Pellatt rd and they did a very thorough survey. They said they would come back after completion of the sewer but haven't.
  22. I spoke to the lady from Snarl this morning and she is providing me with leaflets to distribute locally. The police now have a unit dedicated to this problem. The Rodwell rd kitten had last been seen late evening on Thursday and was found in Pellattt on Friday. Bethdate, can you describe the cat you found? Thanks.
  23. birthdate, that's the same day as the Kitten was found in Pellatt rd. did you ring 101? If not, could you possibly report it to them? Thank you. Angelina, I emailed James Barber and BBC London but have not heard back from either. Should we tell the SLP?
  24. I have now phoned the lovely lady at Snarl. I gather three more dead cats have been found, this time in Kenley.
  25. Jennys, thank you for the Snarl number. The RSPCA collected the kitten and I contacted the SNT who advised me to ask the kitten's owner to call 101. She said she would. I will ring a Snarl tomorrow.
