Dear fellow new businesses and entrepreneurs, I have lived in the area for over 10 years and have set up a business which launched this summer. Knowing how important it is to speak with others on a similar journey in order to share problems, triumphs and stories I was wondering if there any people in a similar situation who would be interested in meeting up on a regular basis. I know there are networking events in the area but I was thinking that it would be more about sharing experiences, pitfalls and successes, mentoring each other, spurring each other on and getting some perspective on what can feel like quite a lonely journey when the going gets tough! Hi all, I'm after a joiner/carpenter who can build a wooden ramp structure that spans about 8 outdoor steps and reaches to about a metre high. It's so I can push a double buggy up it so needs to be strong enough to withstand three bodies and a buggy in weight. Hi all, We are currently selling our house and a surveyor has picked up evidence of woodworm in our floorboards (past or present is tbc). Do you know of a company who could check this out? Obviously we are concerned that the specialist will be hoping to get business and may over-egg any evidence and treatment/replacements needed.
