  1. There's what people think is 'banter' , there's schoolkid insults and now Scholes is not a good player....it really does get tedious on this thread
  2. er...this is a thread about odds/betting on the next election that has meandered into a political debate I don't think it's anything more 'sinister' than that!
  3. Is he? Good I've missed him... er...what's his new name?
  4. Double many happy returns
  5. Other than that of course of the regular "football focus thread" posters it's predictably Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal. Surprisngly little from Chelsea plus a fair few Hammers (hurrah) Leeds and Millwall(boo) Then off the top of my head individually vocal Spuds, Ipswich, Southampton, Pompey and Sheffield Utd regulars and I'm sure some more Oh and Celtic and Rangers
  6. the Forum would hardly have anything on it if it wasn't for all us self important idiots

Put your money where your mouth is RD, 3.4ish on Betfair....
  8. I think he's been away longer than that - I think he felt it was going down hill, he'd be great in the Drawing Room especially
  9. I think there is but he/she isn't a regular poster and I can't remeber their name, sorry- was a couple of Man City fans in the CPT for the City West Ham game so they do exist in the area

  12. 8-0 would have been better
  13. careful young man
  14. Expensive cullenders
  15. Cheers Brendan - looking at those results then Lib dems at 20/1 looks quite tempting. I vaguely seem to remember that Dulwich WAS a tory seat in the 1980s (Bowden?) but I think they've changed boundaries since
  16. Mockney to borrow from Brian Clough a bit - what actually happens is she chooses a bunch of names you think of about 2 then you choose the one of hers you dislike the least.
  17. Nope shorter, if you put ?100 on Labour and they won you'd get a measly ?20 profit back, whereas the same bet on the Tories (if they won) would give you ?350 profit. I thought the Lib Dems were second here last time? If so, 20/1 is the value bet! Edited to shorter not longer!
  18. A Bourbon?
  19. DADS....we are being crap. Can we not get this sorted? Is there a will? I'm still keen for a meet once a monthish maybe on a Thursday night? However as our due date is imminent I will be a bit flaky before christmas but will try and make it if others are still up for this.
  20. Outgrown CBeebies? - I'm still on a voyage of discovery in my 40s

He's still got a wobbly lip from the cricket
  22. Thus speaketh the authority on camp - take note.
  23. I'm a September baby which was great being one of the oldest but then after a few years I got jumped a year which felt a bit odd...although it meant I did a years less school, huzzah!
  24. Oh, and well done Wycombe
  25. Personal conclusions from the weekend Chelsea looking formidable with decent coverage everywhere Man U actually played well for maybe the first time this season Arsenal missing Van Persie too much Liverpool may be pushing it for any european qualification next year let alone Champions League ...Spurs lucky
