  1. Hi, I have Victorian garden wall, the end of which has cracked due to subsidence caused by a tree. We are getting this removed and have been advised by insurers (who are not prepared to cover the work because garden walls are not structural)that the wall could be stabilised by concrete underpinning, after which the crack can be filled. The section that needs underpinning is about 1 - 1.5 metres in length. Could anyone recommend a builder for this kind of work? Thanks. Kevin Smith
  2. HomeCert were great for me too. Some dodgy wiring in my flat started to play up and they were able to come round and take look the same day. They very quickly established what was wrong and what would be needed to put it right. Both the electricians who did the work were friendly, courteous, professional and very thorough. They gave a quotation for the work which they struck to even though the job involved a little bit more work than had been initially anticipated. I am very happy to recommend them and would have no hesitation in using them again.
