  1. Moos: When keef said "first we take Camberwell", it was close enough to the line "first we take Manhattan" from the Leonard Cohen track of the same name - so I just added the second line and nodded in MM's direction as he is a big Laughing Len fan...
  2. I can be competitive - Marmora Man and ???? would even be proud of me! - but I don't know about this one. I'l ltreat this year as a test-run methinks...


    (the thought of pelting down Barry Rd only to tumble over a car pulling out of Uplands Rd would be scary - IF I hadn't been doing something similar in GTA IV every night for a fortnight now)

    I think it's happening more often pretty much everywhere - I think someone even said the office admitted it because it meant the delivery drivers could get through a lot more "deliveries" that way. It has certainly happend to me a few times


    My suspicion is that it's part of the general target-culture and wind-down of the whole service before selling it off


    On the plus side, unless it's mega-important I quite like a pootle down to the sorting office of a Saturday morning a meet a few people in the queue
