Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know our experiences of Peacock Removals (also known under the name of Everest Removals) so that you avoid having the same hideous experience that we did. Gelu from Peacock removals came around to quote for moving us from East Dulwich. They were the cheapest quote we had and were able to start at 8am which suited us - so we decided to use them. This the worst decision we ever made. In summary, they turned up 3.5 hours late, did not have a large enough van and had to get another one, then said that we needed to pay 50% extra in cash before we left or 'they would throw our things on the street' and Gelu, the owner of the company, pretty much offered to take my husband on in a fight as he objected to the treatment!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! KF.
