  2. Jon Cash from Hilltop Construction, I know people who have used him before, very reliable and he has a good track record of residential extensions. He and his team will be perfectly capable of managing the build. [email protected] 020 3627 0051
  3. Since I have been a forum member for the past 15 years I thought I?d share my recent journey into the local business community with you. Especially if you are a SME, landlord or developer this may get interesting. ?What (on earth) made you become a commercial finance broker? (There are enough banks and lenders around.)? I wish more people voiced the latter remark. The High Street Is Changing The problem is, many high street banks have tightened their lending criteria. And while there is no shortage of alternative funders and offers across the UK you need to cut through the complexity. If the ideal lenders are not local like your bank, at least someone who entertains relationships with them should. Why relationships matter? Think of your bank. To arrange funds, lenders not only expect a gapless proposal. They need to understand your business journey and goals in a way that is meaningful to them. How I Set Up CC Finance An entrepreneur with 20+ years? track record in marcomms, an MBA, and 100% 5-star customer reviews I am no stranger to asking the right questions, consolidating proposals, unearthing business strengths and finding solutions. But most of all, driving relationships. I found that as a trained and FCA-authorised commercial finance broker I love practicing the financial advocacy many stressed SMEs, landlords and property developers have been missing. Since I hate to say no to clients, I chose to partner with a long-established consultant head office of solutions-oriented finance experts and a panel of 280+ funders. Some of them lending to start ups, phoenix and distressed businesses, developers asking for 100% LTC, expat landlords and other strange animals. How I Help I help refinance ? Industrial and commercial assets, from IT hardware to small airplanes ? Buy-to-let property portfolios, including HMOs, and ? Commercial and semi-commercial property to release equity, pay off debts and invest further. I advise and assist SMEs with managing business cash flows through using their own ? Invoices (invoice factoring or invoice discounting) ? Merchant card payments ? Inventory and other ? Business assets, from hire purchase to finance leases. Supporting growth, I particularly love to advise on ? Financing new assets, inventory, property, particular ventures, or a whole new business through acquisition or MBO/MBI. If you would like to share the next step of your business or property journey, go into my calendar and book a free 30-min review call on https://www.cc-finance.co.uk/contact-us/. Please share this post with anyone else you think could benefit from it, thank you. Barbara Ca??o, MBA CC Finance 46 Tyrrell Road East Dulwich SE22 9NE Tel: 0774 776 7312

  6. Hi mumindulwich, I can warmly recommend my own accountant for over 10 Years (and my husband's for four years): Ray Coman from ComanandCo in North Cross Road. He has been excellent in every respect and also offers extensive bookkeeping. https://comanandco.co.uk/ Not sure but if you need help with invoice finance let me know.
  7. I would love to recommend our cleaner Haline Rodrigues, who has got some more space to take on new cleaning jobs. Haline has been keeping our 4-bedroom house spotless each week. She is also very efficient and diligent in ironing even the most tricky shirts. Haline (pronounce 'Aleenee') is a very positive person and speaks sufficient English to perform her tasks. Her hourly rate is ?12. If you need a cleaner text or call her at 07494 058 235.
  8. Hi there, I've been working with Kamal, who is excellent at a wide range of repairs, on several little projects in the past month. He is really friendly and helpful, and charges fairly. Definitely worth giving him a ring on 07429 521306.
  9. We just had a few of our bathroom marble tiles replaced with a specialist bathroom tiler - he has already been recommended on ED Forum and did a fantastic job. He not only replaced the tiles but also fixed a damp issue that had been the cause for the broken tiles. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended - call Kim on 07838 102782.
  10. Des has done a fantastic job painting the walls of our stairway. Extremely diligent and, as Mn1acc mentioned earlier, solutions oriented and embracing other projects not related to painting if they help deliver a good job. For example, he had our carpet removed earlier than planned. Des returned for small touch ups after some phone cables had been fixed to the walls, and promptly finished fixing a stretch of cable that had been forgotten. Would definitely recommend him and his team.
  11. Same praise here. We had two leading water taps. Aria came just hours after I called him and started fixing the problem straight away. Very knowledgable and tidy. Highly recommended, I'll use his services again without hesitating.

  15. I'm looking for a webdeveloper with some experience of FTP clients to safely upload some webfiles of my site to my new webhosting account. This is a fairly small job that a busy developer may be able to easily squeeze in. Am based in East Dulwich. Recommendations of good developers welcome.
  16. 16.50 for a ribeye steak and 16 for braised shoulder of lamb of THAT making is absolutely fair I think. Compare this with food of equal quality and you'll find it's a competitive rate. Btw, their range of original Balkanese wines is fantastic, had Moldavian red wine last time which blew me away. And in the summer there's outdoor barbecue. Just hope they'll put on Goran Bregovic music one day, would be perfect fit.
  17. Having found Andy, our plumber, on the EDF more than a year ago, I thought I'd share my experience with him over a couple of jobs he has done for us. He is super fast, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and always finishes his jobs to our full satisfaction. When I first contacted him in relation to a plumbing emergency, he literally showed up at my door within 45 minutes, no joke. That response time didn't change much with his other jobs. He has dealt with cleansing and rebalancing our heating system, with repairing toilet flushes and broken bathtub tubes. Would never change him for anyone else. Andy's phone number: 07983 688451
  18. All you said is true! I had an emergency (water leaking through ceiling of dining room, with bathroom upstairs) this morning, called Andy, and he came round within 45 minutes! He was extremely knowledgable and solved the problem in no time at all. He is a BIG thumbs up!
  19. Hi minder, my son has a history of recurring chest infections and underwent several tests at King's last winter. No underlying condition such as asthma was found. The doctors said that if these infections continue this winter, they will put him on antibiotics during the whole winter. I consulted another recommended GP close to my home town Vienna who has treated children with similar conditions successfully. She recommended for my son to get a flu jab, ideally before we are off to Vienna at Christmas. After that she will start treating him to boost his immune system. bcacao

  21. My little son needs a flu jab but the local medical centre won't provide one, for different not-health related reasons. I have called through all major ED pharmacies, as recommended by the medical centre, but no one sells and provides private flu jabs. Does anyone know where I can get this in and around East Dulwich? thanks Bcacao
