Hi folks - I?m doing a talk tomorrow about my latest book, a biography of Henry VI. Son of Henry v (of Battle of Agincourt fame), he came to the throne as a baby and during his reign lost the Hundred Years War AND the Wars of the Roses before being murdered in the Tower of London. A pretty eventful period of History all round - and that?s before we start exploring the mental health of this allegedly ?mad king?... Wanted to add our recommendations for Stephen - he fitted carpet and vinyl flooring for us last year and it's still in great shape. His advice was really helpful too as it was our first home. Never felt like he was trying to upsell us, always gave his honest opinion and was clear about what work was being undertaken. Really friendly and brilliant service.

Wanted to give another recommendation for Greg - he did a lot of work when we moved into our house last year, and due to our deadlines for having to move, he ended up working on a pretty tight schedule, long hours. All the same, he did a fantastic job, was very helpful and understanding. The place still looks fantastic. He's since been back to do a smaller repair job (unrelated to his original work) which again looks great. Highly recommend.

Another recomendation for Aria - over the past year he's done a few jobs at our house, from standard installations to emergency leaks and they've all been dealt with promptly and professionally, at very reasonable prices.Great service and highly reccomend.

Have used Northcross Rd myself as it's close - the major downside to it is it seems perpetually over-busy so there were long waits both times I was there. For a filling I ended up waiting nearly an hour and a half. The nurses also seemed a bit shoddy, making a few cockups and being slow. However, the dentist & reception were very friendly and when I lost part of my filling and went back the next day, they didn't charge me for fixing it without any quibble at all.
