I would like to add our recommendation for HomeCert. Paul responded very quickly to our enquiry, and the electrician Mike arrived when he said he would. We'd booked them to change a light fitting in a shower, which he did very efficiently, and also fixed two other minor electrical problems while he was here. Reliable, punctual, tidy. Very reasonable rates. Couldn't recommend HomeCert highly enough.

We also used James to fix the toilet flush button. He did a good job, was pleasant and friendly, rang promptly, and came when he said he would.

What does Lordship Lane need?
PaulaMcD replied to whiskeymistery's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
apart from any suggestions about useful shops, places to eat, etc what Lordship Lane need is SENSIBLE PARKING regulations and maybe even a parking lot - for those of us who don't live within walking distance. You can hardly do some shopping and meet a friend for lunch if you only get 30 minutes' parking. It takes that long to post a letter in the post office!
