  2. I would like to really recommend John McCaffery - 07868 102497. He recently did some painting and wall papering for us and it's fantastic. He was very tidy, it took exactly the amount of time he said it would, and very reasonable. And a lovely guy as well! We have booked him in for more work in the new year.

  18. Hello, we have a small flat, but are looking to reorganise the kitchen and living room space, and possibly add on a side extension. This is not a big project and has a very tight budget, but we are looking for recommendations for a local Architect who can give us some ideas on how to make the best use of the limited space, and draw up plans if required. Thanks

  20. wow...it seems like a logistical nightmare for all! Will definitely check out the holiday schemes people have recommended. Is there any kind of OFSTED inspection for holiday schemes/reassurance that the people who run them are capable of taking care of so many children? Thank God for Grandparents...
  21. Hello, We are all very excited about our daughters staring reception in September, and have just about got childcare sorted for term time. However, having just been given the list of holidays from the school, it throws up whole new problems with what do we do about childcare during the holidays. Are there childminders who are willing to work holidays only? Are there any good summer schools available locally for young children? Any other options? Thanks
  22. Hi all, I have also been offered a place at Goose Green for reception in September. I would be very keen to hear stories from parents with children already there, or meet up with parents who's children will be starting in September.
  23. Theatre Peckham at Harris academy in Peckham is brilliant - they do music theatre, and ballet, tap etc, and it is very reasonably priced. My 4 yr olds love the music theatre class
