ADULT WORKSHOP - MAKE & BAKE IN CLAY Tues 14th June 6.30-8.30pm - ?20 Run by Kids Clay Workshop This was moved from a couple of weeks ago - due to half term! I'm always being asked if I run adult workshops too, and a couple of months ago a group of mums got together to come and make dishes, which was great fun. I'm doing another one which is open to all on Tues 14th June at 6.30-8.30pm, and we will be making busts (heads & shoulders). No experience necessary, just treat yourself to an evening of something different instead of just spending all the money on entertaining the kids! Please book in advance. MAKE & BAKE Workshop for FATHER'S DAY GIFTS! 2.30-3.45pm on Sat 11th June at Bellenden Road Scout Hut, 212 Bellenden Road SE15 ?15 We will be making some pencil pots for Father's Day (Shhhh, don't tell them!) which is a great project for Dads to keep and use! These will then be painted by you and will be taken to be fired. It's a good way to do something creative with the kids and get Dad a very personal gift at the same time! It's aimed at ages 6-10 years, from age 5 can come along but the youngers ones (age 5/6 will definitely need a bit of grown-up help please!). Aimed at kids aged 6-10 years (younger kids welcome to join with grown-up help), this is an after-school workshop on zoom and we are making a mix of pots, animals and people. The mini-course is a bit different because we make 4 projects, then glaze them and finally they get fired! I can deliver all clay and glaze (provided you live 10 mins or less from SE22 0HG). It's a bit more expensive than the usual making workshops because it covers everything - clay, glaze, firings and deliveries - so it's ?60 for 1 kid, and ?40 for siblings. Kids Clay Workshop is running a 9 week course in clay - to make it lockdown proof it will be running on zoom. The course will start on Thursday Oct 1st 4-5pm weekly (apart from half term) for 9 weeks. The idea is to make 5 projects, some of which you can keep and some for Christmas presents! These will include a mixture of functional things, animals and figures. We will be making, painting on glaze colours and then the work will be fired!?There will be a bit of collecting and dropping off (clay & glaze) or I can deliver to nearby addresses (I'm in SE22 0HG) so please factor this in. The kids learn to roll out the clay, join it and put texture in, and best of all get to take their creation home!
