  1. No takers? When the dead shall rise he shall need a bath...and a shave frankly...
  2. admit it, this was one of yours, shame on you!! (I told you, ultimately every thread just regurgitates stuff from the last 8 years!!) Right, ?2.99 mono speakers!!!!!!
  3. ok, blimey, been a while... Dirty dick used to have a sunnier [side up] disposition.
  4. lester freamon *x post* orange cheese, maybe not *eta* Doh, leicester!!!
  5. This made me laugh, Polly D, look away now!!
  6. yeah never really got the FF series, though liked some of the it's 8 bit brethren, like secret of mana. and yes old zeldas hold up really well, including some of their polished counterparts on WiiU arcade. What was the series with snake in? stealth em ups with incomprehensible japanese stylee plots? I quite enjoyed them even if they were very silly.
  7. mario & zelda for sure. Resident Evil was patchy but loved a couple of those early ones, again very fond gaming memories of Tomb Raider, even if they quickly got a bit stale. The Turok games were another that I really liked back in the mists of time. Advance Wars on the gameboys were absolute classics!! Oooh, metroid, both 2D and 3D were excellent
  8. blimey am i still in it?!? ok will get mine in shortly
  9. "They are mostly reluctant to talk about anything when you actually meet them without having someone close to hand to back them up. " That's me, a proper wilting violet ;)
  10. that otta's a right twonk though slosh!
  11. very good ;) Erm, how can they be preconceived ideas? If you only know a poster, not their RL counterpart, then you can only have ideas about a poster based on their posting, in other words they're conceived ideas. I find RPC both condescending and unpleasant Others find her interesting. Different strokes for etc... I'm sure she's lovely in real life, but that's my opinion based on my reading. You can call that holier than thou but I've never claimed to be anything other than a grumpy old man, I'm pretty sure there are loads on here who find me unpleasant. I make no apologies for my opions, take em or leave them and I stand by them. The only people who have ever got under _my_ skin are the ones I genuinely care about; the odd spat with otta or *bob* and his ?2.99 aiwa stereo mono ;) It's funny how it's usually the more abrasive posters with the thinnest skins.
  12. I know, but I've just felt my connection drift away over the course of they year (just passed anniversary btw) and the EDF itself seems to be becoming a parody of itself. I feel I could ghost write most threads to be honest. Overfamiliarity over the last 8 years perhaps, maybe it's just time to move one. I'm natural wasteage ;)
  13. back on topic, person with flouncing form gets feathers ruffled by person with flouncing form. Flounces, eliciting knock on flounce. Nothing to see here *crosses self and dons dog collar* Though to be fair I'm doing my best to leave the EDF (i'm getting there), so don't worry RPC, if you read this, you can return safe in the knowledge that I'll be gone. My advice, get a thicker skin if you want to play here, especially if lots of your posts are going to be abrasive, judgemental and/or controversial.
  14. a sort of phonetic transliteration of cack presumably? from cacare, latin 'to poo poo' Though sounds more like cake to me. chocolate cake?
  15. The Killing Mould
  16. Was it that the BBC shouldn't put controversial guests on QT? You seem to be mistaking it for a seriously political debate show, rather than an entertainment show. A gentrified Jeremy Kyle, if you will.
  17. What exactly is the question again?
  18. SJ's little quips to self often get misconstrued and blown out of all proportion too. Clearly Irish people should never be given keyboards ... or quills, no tradition of the written word you see, useless I tell you!!!
  19. ha ha, you are silly sometimes quids. In a cliquey thread about an old poster, where another poster is [apparently] of particular relevance, some people express an opinion. And that's 'ganging up', *chortle*
  20. to be fair she's one of those people i've applied my mental : to, so i have no idea what you're talking about ;)
  21. alas poor declan i knew him weel. Well I met him about 3 times, and a lovely chap, with a delightful wife, he'll be happy enough without grief from the forum. plus you know, the 'alan medic' is dead, long live the 'alan mice maid'
  22. flickr is mostly free now, no limits on photos, just some advanced functionailty on pro accounts very good photo sharing site. Google+ allows for sharng photo albums and integrates with picasa, which is quite a neat photo organisation tool, including automted face tagging, albums etc If it's just transferring image then any number of dropboxy type apps out there, google drive, picturelife etc, but dropbox is a good start ;)
  23. Seabag Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Giving up the EDF is the easiest thing in the > world. > I know because I've done it thousands of times. > > Mark Twain ha ha, excellent. me too, in fact am doing so again.......doh!!!!
