Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had experience in applying for a state school that is not the closest school to them? Due to a property falling through we may have to move closer to another school rather than our first choice. There is only 0.1 mile in it though and we would be 0.2 mile away from our first choice. Just don't want to risk losing our first choice by moving closer to another... Many thanks, Becky

Hello all, We had my little one's third birthday party at the weekend and I just wanted to recommend the Centre for Wildlife Gardening on Marsden Road as a children's party venue and 'Silly Billy' from The Bedlam Bunch as an entertainer. The Centre for Wildlife Gardening was perfect for our needs, a nice sized room, lots of greenery (outside!) and Sylvia was really helpful. http://www.wildlondon.org.uk/reserves/centre-for-wildlife-gardening Silly Billy was amazing! She kept all the little ones entertained for an hour and as all parents know that is a major achievement! http://thebedlambunch.co.uk/character/silly-billy/ Have a good one!

This morning - the green opposite The Rye pub
BexB replied to Jaws's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Good news but I wonder why they weren't attending him when I passed? Unless there was more than one guy involved? There was an awful lot of activity if it wasn't a serious incident. -

When I drove past at 8am there was no dog but the man was lying in the grass with lots of police and ambulance people nearby. I think he had been found there this morning, I'm guessing he had passed on as no one was trying to help him. Very sad, he didn't look that old to me.
