Our little dog, Will, got lost yesterday. He did a runner from Nunhead Cemetery! He's a miniature dachshund (with a little bit of Jack Russel in him!). Apparently was picked up by a young man in a white van on Gibbon Road, Nunhead who was knocking on doors asking who he belonged to - so we're hopeful he might be found. Hi If you're looking for a good, reliable builder I wanted to recommend Kevin from Y and J Builders. We found him on this site from a recommendation from 'Manderjee'. About 8 months ago we bought a really shabby mid-terraced house in Nunhead which needs a lot of work. Kevin and his team have done a really good job on the work we have had done so far (including roof and ceiling repairs, plastering and painting, fixing external joinery and soffit boards, repairing and re-pointing external brickwork, building and rendering walls in the garden and laying a new front path). He (and his team) are hard workers and reasonably priced. He goes the extra mile to get things done and takes pride in finishing things off to a high standard. We have a lot more work to do and will certainly continue to use him. If you have a look at Manderjee's posts you can get more detail/info as he's done a lot more work for her than us (so far!). I had these guys round as well and my goodness were they aggressive! I was still trying to get my head round what they wanted/were offering when the guy was asking if he should take his shoes off before they came in - I sent them packing!
