  1. My husband needs help to carry two single mattresses down from the first floor. They need to be wrapped in plastic and taken into the front garden to be collected by the council.
  2. Hi Mary All the flowerbeds in our medium sized garden need a good tidy-up! There's lots of small weeds and moss. We live behind the Horniman Gardens in Forest Hill. Would you have some time and how much do you charge? Look forward to hearing from you. Irene
  3. I need help with weeding the flowerbeds and maybe a little planting, as my back isn't great. Anyone with an interest in gardening would be fine; it doesn't need to be a qualified gardener to help me.
  4. We need someone to tidy the flowerbeds. There's lots of moss and hand weeding to do. It doesn't require a qualified gardener to do this, just some gardening experience.
  5. Hi, we got a bottle of Sticky Stuff Remover from Lakeland and it's been amazingly effective. Have you tried this?
  6. Hi, someone new to the area has just replied to my ad. She's RHS trained and sounds very professional. We've already taken on someone else. Her details are 07557 900 347 email: [email protected]. She's called Roisin -I can't remember her surname.
  7. Hi This job is weeding on your knees (or bending) to dig out the weeds in all the flowerbeds. What experience of gardening do you have?
  8. We need someone who will hand weed the flowerbeds, as my back isn't up to it. We don't need a trained person, as we can do the other jobs in the garden.
  9. I need a garden helper because my back is dodgy. The main task is hand weeding the flowerbeds, so it doesn't need to be a trained person. There's usually some tidying of the beds to do as well.
  10. Hi, do you have a phone no. for Louise Sunderland? Thanks in advance.
  11. I need someone to help me with my established garden. It doesn't need to be a qualified gardener but someone to weed the flowerbeds and help generally.
  12. I go to a class run by Lewisham Adult Education at the Brockley Rise Centre, close to Stanstead Road. It's called Keep Fit with Gentle Exercise with an excellent tutor (a Pilates teacher). The class is not so gentle, as you work at your own level of fitness, and we need to recruit a few more people to keep our funding. It's on Mondays from 11am to 12.30pm (?62 for 10 weeks, ?31 conc.) starting on the 15th January - you can enrol online.
  13. We need a cleaner for about 3 hours a week. We're in Forest Hill near the Horniman Museum. Please reply with your hourly rate. No agencies or companies please.
  14. It's not very regular I'm afraid! Have you any gardening experience? Please reply to my email address [email protected]
  15. I need someone mainly for hand weeding the flowerbeds and tying up climbing roses, It doesn't need a qualified gardener as I do a lot of other stuff myself.
  16. I could do with someone to help me in my garden - weeding, tidying beds etc. It would be for a few hours, every so often, as needed. (You don't need to be a qualified gardener)
  17. How rude you are southeastelectric/Dan! This was not "bumped up" as you put it. I arranged a cleaner who then could not take the work. The other replies were from people who couldn't do time we wanted or were too expensive. So, I've posted again.
  18. We need a cleaner for 3 or 4 hours a week. Please pm me with your availability and hourly rate. Thanks.
  19. We need a cleaner for 3 or 4 hours, once a week. Please email with availability and how much you charge.
  20. Hi, anyone able to help me in my garden now? It's well maintained, so it doesn't need to be a trained gardener. I need help with weeding, cutting back dead stuff etc. If interested, please state your hourly rate.
  21. Hi, I'm a systems engineer and the first thing I do is go into Google and search for the problem. Have you tried this? There ate always solutions suggested by Microsoft and other expert users. The same applies to extending your wifi coverage. There are simple devices that you plug into a power socket.
  22. We need someone to help to clear the loft.
  23. I don't know if anyone else has made my mistake and thought that the meat at William Rose is organic, free range or both. A long while ago, I decided to try their meat. I asked if all their meat was organic and was told that only the trays in the display with specific labels were organic or free range. Only one tray had an organic label. However I decided that their meat should be good quality, so I ordered a whole bladebone (featherblade) to collect in a few days time. I was so disappointed with the meat when I cooked it. It's usually meltingly tender when it's braised, with a rich flavour, but the William Rose meat was tough and with very little taste. And, I had a whole bladebone to use up! Not been back since.
  24. We have a garden wall, which is a retaining wall, and needs to be rebuilt. Does anyone have any recommendations please?
  25. Hi I have back problems, so need someone to help me with the autumn tidy-up - weeding, cutting back perernnials, spreading soil conditioner on one of the beds. Not urgent, as everything's still so green.
