Watch your window boxes. Came back from a week away to find my geraniums had gone walkabout!

You could get in touch with Trees for Cities in Ruskin Park. They get trees planted all over the place.

What I detest is the half an hour of my life wasted in the cinema waiting for the film being forced to experience adverts and trailers. The other thing is the smoking clubs outside pub doorways which children are walking past. At least when smoking was done inside pubs you didn't have to suffer walking through clouds of smoke when you passed a pub.

Lordship lane Co-op wants to open 23/7
Lin Henden replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
For gods sake give us a bit of peace at night! The crossing outside the Bishop goes ding, ding, ding roughly about every 5 seconds until late in the evening. Can we get a silencer fitted for after 11pm? -

How to see a doctor in East Dulwich
Lin Henden replied to Earl Aelfheah's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
There is a 24 hour clinic between Camberwell Green and Peckham where anyone can walk in and see a doctor. Just go to the reception. Kings College sent me there earlier this year when I had an allergic reaction to getting bitten and I was seen in about 20 minutes. -
The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh. This is spread across Burma, Malaya and India Also just finished Love Virtually by Daniel Glattauer about 2 people sharing secrets, desires and passions via emailing.

As I remember - cross the crossing at Northcross Road, turn right and Lockharts was about 3 shops along on the left. Either the shop shop or next door, hairdressers I think.

I would find this interested as I used to play on the bombsites!

I think Haart are the best estate agents. You have masses of choice in East Dulwich.

Partner for "motivation" wanted in get fit/lose weight regime
Lin Henden replied to soyamocha3's topic in The Lounge
I wouldn't mind joining in although I am 60 and do not jog. However, I do swim at Dulwich baths and cycle for about 1 hour at a time. Put on 2 sizes since breaking wrist and foot about 3 years ago and now having problems getting the extra off. -

If you are getting rid of any any new wood offcuts I may find them useful. -
I was at Friern Lower and Upper Schools from from 1963 tp 1968 and remember Miss Thompson and Mrs Pringle (bitch!). Had Miss Herbert as form mistress for the last 2 years and became excellent at religion. Had Miss Reeves for PE and Mrs Mills for history - I think she was one of the foundations poor old thing. I remember Miss Coyne as well. What about Mr Webb for science, we could make him blush. Does anyone know what happened to Linda Probert? And although I don't remember Caron Ann Tobin I do remember a Susan Tobin, is this a relative?

Amazing. 3 bins in a tine garden so can't really call it a garden any more. When I was a child and there were 5 of us, plus foster children we had one small black bin for the week! Just take a shopping bag and buy stuff with no wrapping.

Question for James Barber or anyone else that knows the answer please. What is the council's policy on wind turnbines on a roof? Lin Henden
