Can I also add my recommendation of Alan. Fitted new locks for me two weeks ago after extensive telephone consultation. As everyone says he is really helpful, friendly and above all knows about locks! Also he doesn't insist on being recommended on the forum which I why I am doing it!

I've used Mike before for things like wired-in smoke alarms, new sockets etc so sure he could do this. His number is 07989 878787.

I have had a new oven recently fitted but I realise it has not been done properly in that they didn't use the runners so it in just sitting in the casing with nothing really holding it up! It would be great if anyone knows someone who could do this. There is a possibility that the work surface may need trimming as well. I also need an isolation switch fitted as it doesn't have it's own circuit on the fuse box. Thanks

I have just had a new electric oven partially fitted but there is a feeder pipe for the gas hob in the way so it can't be fitted in flush to the units. Is need someone to slightly move it or fit a flexible hose in its place. Thanks

Headed here when our usual place Nero was completely full. While the coffee and pastries were okay, the coffee was tiny and the pastries were nothing to write home about, we were more than a tad surprised to be presented with a bill for ?12.60 for two of us! On top of this they are taking rustic minimalism to the extreme, with hard chairs and terrible acoustics. We will definitely not be returning!

I'd like to recommend Mike too. Within a day of contacting him he'd been round and fitted a complicated light fitting for me in well under an hour. I wish I'd contacted him a year ago when I first bought it!!
