Don't be put off by the negativity here - if you can offer, say 4-6 tennis coaching sessions to a school - special schools will be interested - there's also an organisation called contact-a-family - with a local southwark branch - they do sessions for children with/ without disabilities. -

http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200226/special_educational_needs/1914/sen_schools/1 hi chloe - it sounds like a great idea - above link takes you to list of special schools in southwark - i'd contact them directly - disabilities can be cognitive, psychological and /or physical. Integration only works for a some. -
So what's the point of a no notice inspection if you seem to know all about it.

when children are having fun - they make a noise - 2 or 3 can make quite a racket - 24 - well do the maths - and outdoor play / learning should be a major part of any good nursery - so not a matter of a 15 min break twice a day but then one man's charming chortle could be another's nightmare. but that's it from me

it's not fair to name people who have objected to a nursery business being opened next door to them. I certainly am glad there are not 24 screaming kids next door to me.

by above response to Pugwash's post and many many other comments above - it seems the government and its mate,the media have been highly successful in recreating the old them and us scenario. divide and conquer. If you work for a wage/ salary whether in public or private organisation - you're one of the workers. both groups are interdependent.
