Now isn’t that land going to be built on for student housing or have I got it wrong? Maybe it’s prep? PS plenty of benches in Dulwich Village and Melbourne Grove if you’re searching for somewhere to sit.

That’s quite an unpleasant accusation. -
There’s no record on southwark for planning permission for anything for that building. But something will happen and that’s my prediction. It’s a waste of space at the moment big old pubs like that aren’t working anymore. They’re closing down all over the place. A shop on the ground floor, a mini Lidl perhaps and then flats above built in the style of the adjoining flats. Social housing would be the preference but DE will go for the money.

It’s going to be pulled down 100%.

It’s absolutely the right place. It would’ve been placed in the drawing room, but that room has been demolished so the lounge is perfect.

There are many properties with front gardens like that; personally I would knock on the door of one that I admired and find out who did it. -

If it’s housing, there’s good reasons to wait for the bailiffs. But with a business, I can’t think of one. -

It’s £5 for an hour. -
In May Trump was saying that crime has substantially reduced in DC and how proud he was of the achievement now he’s calling in the National Guard because crime now is out of hand nothing has changed. It’s exactly like this thread. No, I don’t have to read it but it’s beyond boring and now has become totally Trumpian.

Some surveyors / damp specialists are linked to companies that do the remedial work. avoid - these people have one solution which they apply to every damp problem irrespective of its cause. After wasting a lot of money on a big company damp specialist with a useless guarantee I found independentspecialistsurveys.co.uk - His comprehensive report covered everything from gutters to location of furniture and size of ventilators. I would totally recommend him.

Can you stop using the word gender when you mean sex.

Yes, I’m quoting myself. The Dulwich Village section of Met-engage states the police priorities for the area - which include robbery especially of mobile phones and violence against women also of vulnerable car users.

The town centre they are referring to is Bermondsey way

Well, here I am and I’m going to settle the matter once and for all. apologies for cliche. I just saw some police officers in Peckham Park and stopped to speak to them to ask if they were just there as part of their usual patrol or in response to something specific. it was the former. One officer told me about something called Met engage which I’ve never heard of no doubt readers will have. It’s a quick way of alerting police to concerns rather than actual crimes but it details what the concerns are in a particular area. Because of previous posts where people were calling each other liars, I thought I’d look up Dulwich Village and see what the priorities for the police were. If you’re interested, then do so yourself. I found it interesting.

Derelict Grove Tavern - who to contact?
alice replied to Dean Connell's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Funny little video - I dont know who made it but certainly wasn’t the people who have power over what happens to the site. Which makes the poll meaningless.
