  1. Hi I want to do a small project in my garden in the centre of East Dulwich. There is an area at the rear of our small yard that is mainly pebbled measuring approx 6 metres x 2 metres. I would like to replace this with artificial grass. I would also like the remaining paving slabs pressure washed if possible. I have already had 2 quotes - 1 direct from Easigrass which was extortionate and another from an independent chap who was cheap but seemed very unprofessional. I would like an experienced local person who will do a good job for a good price. I will provide the artificial grass and weed membrane, but will need the contractor to provid everything else necessary to complete the job. Please do get in touch if you can help. Thanks Mark
  2. Hi Reliable cleaner wanted for 2.5 hours a week including small amount of ironing - ideally on a Wednesday or Thursday. ?10 an hour. Must have good references. Please let me know if you can help.
  3. Apologies moderator - posted this in the discussion rather than classified section and I can't seem to delete this one.
  4. Could anyone recommend a local car valet service (ideally mobile) offering good service and value? Many thanks Mark
  5. Hi We are looking for a really good, reliable cleaner for 2.5 hours every Wednesday (any time between 9am and 4pm) in the centre of East Dulwich. Must speak good English and provide excellent references. ?10/hour. Please get in touch with a few details about yourself, experience etc. if you may fit the bill. Many thanks, Mark.
  6. Hi I am looking for a professional and experienced cleaner who could perform a top-to-bottom general clean of our flat (2 bed 2 bath) in central East Dulwich on Monday 27 March (or possibly morning of Tuesday 28 March). Also to include cleaning of oven (which is in dire need of it). Estimated 4.5 - 5 hours work required. Please get in touch if you could help and let me know credentials, experience etc. Please also let me know how much you charge. Many thanks Mark
  7. I think they need to sort out the kerb appeal of the place - the way it is currently set up you can't really see in from the outside very well so it can often seem empty when there are in fact people sitting in the back. Look forward to giving it a try though.
  8. Hi Our current cleaner has let us down repeatedly so we are looking to find a great, reliable cleaner for 2.5 hours per week in central East Dulwich. Could people please let me know any recommendations? Really appreciate it. Would expect to pay the typical going rate - ?10ph Thank you!
  9. Hi My sister is moving from Dulwich village over to Barry Road in the next couple of weeks. She has quite a bit of furniture to move so could do with a guy or a couple of guys to move and transport her stuff - lifting belongings and a large van for transport Could people let me know their rates? Date is 26th May Thanks
  10. Hi Could anyone recommend a local person or business for high quality clothing alterations (gents)? In particular, I've lost a bit of weight and dropped a size or two since Christmas but have some quite expensive coats I would like adjusting (if possible) to make them a bit smaller rather than have to discard them. Any recommendations gratefully received. Thanks.
  11. Hi, Could anyone recommend a TV repair person/company locally? It looked like W Coe was recommended extensively on here but I went down to the address on Forest Hill Road and looks like it has been replaced by a Turkish bath? We have a Samsung TV which wont turn on. The red power light just blinks and it makes a clicking sound. From googling it, it looks like the most likely issue is that a component (capacitator) needs replacing, which sounds like a quick and easy fix. Any recommendations much appreciated. Thanks
  12. Hi Looking for a trustworthy person or business for what should be a fairly basic TV repair. Looking on the forum it seemed a place on Forest Hill Road was highly recommended (W Coe) but when we went down to have a look today the listed address now seems to be a Turkish Bath. We have a 42 inch Samsung LED TV which won't turn on. When we try we get a blinking red light and a clicking sound. From a quick search online, it sounds like it is most likely a matter of replacing a basic component (capacitator) which sounds like quite an easy job but do not know for sure and would welcome someone who knows what they are talking about. Recommendations very gratefully received. Thanks
  13. Hi Would be interested to know if anyone provides Portuguese lessons locally or any recommendations? Preferably classic Portuguese rather than Brazil in. Thanks everyone!
