Hi Millsa , yes that is correct , Klaus has now been unwell for a year, and apparently does not answear his phone or messages . I am sure he would get back to you if he was well.

Hi, I would highly recommend Klaus, Klaus The House Carpenter and Restorer, but I tried to phone him the other day to do a job for me, but he is very unwell at the moment and not working, I was told. Just thought I would let you know in case you saw his recommendation on this forum.

Oh dear, this sounds very serious, I must remember to bring a bodyguard, when I go there again. Or on reflection I think I will contact the press, because the general public should be warned about going to such a place, dear, dear me...........

I have had a meal many times in The Dartmouth Arms in Forest Hill, and I have never had any reason to complain, and I am very fussy. Perhaps all the staff is new, including the chef, since I have been there, about 6 months ago. I also thought the ladies toilets were quite nice , have not been in the men's , but perhaps all that has changed as well. It is a pitty that no one from The Dartmouth Arms, can defend themselves here. Did you notice on the day if anybody else had such a bad experience. Having said all that, I try differnet places for Sunday lunch, and always come back to the pub at the back of Forest Hill station called All Inn One, for quality and value for money. I always have the roast chicken, which is lovely and perfectly cooked vegetables. I have recently tried to get into Canvas & Cream in Forest Hill on a Sunday, but have found people waiting to be seated even at 12 o'clock, and it is not a small venue. So being impatient I go somewhere else. I can only assume it is because the food is as good as it is during the week, and having been there many times, I can highly recommend it. It is a real shame about the Dartmouth Arms, because I always liked it there, must try it myself sometime soon !

I have bought the kindling from them and it is very dry, and burns very well. I shall be buying from them in the future unless I hear of a better option. Better being cheaper !

I often see Jeremy Bowen, in North Cross Road market on a Saturday, I used to fancy him years ago, I still stare at him, however not in the same way !!

I have had wooden sash windows restored in various properties , over the years , by Klaus the House 07976401767, and I have always been very happy with his work, especially as he has saved me a lot of money , by not ripping them out and replacing them with new ones. I will always employ him in the future for that or any other work in wood.

I too can highly recommend Bruggemeyer in Herne Hill, I , and many of my friends use them and they are brilliant. I always see Mustafa, but I am sure his brother is of equally high standard . Really lovely people too.

I would also like to recommend Steve Pearce, I agree with everyone's comments and more. You will not be disappointed.
