Hi. We're looking for a part time private carer to help look after a disabled man in his 40s (acquired brain injury) just a few times a week. This will not involve washing and dressing but we would like some help with tidying his room, preparing a snack for lunch and also with administering eye drops and lubrication following a diagnosis of Bell's Palsy. Ideally we would like the person to be able to provide their own self-employed invoices. Suit a local mum/artist/someone who needs a bit of extra money. Camberwell based. Reasonable hourly rate. Does anyone know of a support worker available please, or perhaps you are one yourself? It's for a disabled mid 40s man in Camberwell who needs someone to help him practice walking outside the house. It would need someone that's tallish, and preferably with prior experience. The man himself has lost his fine motor skills including some of his balance following a brain injury, and has speech difficulties but can be great company.
