  1. I know this is the wrong place for this but I am a bit frantic. I have just lost my phone in peckham rye park, it is the only link with my family that it is all abroad and I got all my baby pics on it. I am a single mum with virtually no money so much so i could not afford the insurance, any insurance for the matter. If you find it please pm me. thank you
  2. I wanted to buy a smart trike 1-2-3 as a christmas present for my baby, she will be 15 months by then. However I am starting to wondering how worthy it is.I do see quite a lot of them around, but mostly the parent push them and the kids are either walking or in their arms. Plus all the used one I have found on internet seem to be barely used and expensive. I do like them but I am not sure if I should spend the money or wait till she can go on a bike, maybe a balance one. Has anyone got a smart trike and it was a great success? or a total waste of money? Thank you

  4. Hi, I know this is not the right area of the formus but if any of you know of any rooms or b&b in the area it would be lovely. I am having my parents over for christams to spend time with my baby and we want to buy the tickets now that are reasonable. I am looking for a room during the Christmas period where my dad could stay. He comes from Italy to spend the holiday with me and my new baby but my flat is way too small for all of us. It would be for around 10 days and it needs to be near the barry road/peckham rye side of East Dulwich. Thank you
  5. I just wanted to thank everyone for their help. We have followed your advices and now we have a more enjoyable meal experience. I am actually looking forward to see her eat different food and I don't jump up in a panic everytime she brings food to her mouth. Thank you
  6. Hi, I'm a single mum to a 7 months old girl and a lovely dog. I would be happy to meet up with other mums and babies.
  7. Hi, my little one is almost 7 months old, we have been trying some blw. She loves broccoli and pears, mango and strawberry, tryed the butternut squash and sweet potato. while we had good success with some and complete aphaty with others my real dilemma is that she tend to gag a lot.A Carrot almost choked her the first time and she coughed it out the second, it happened in different days the second time I steamed the carrot for over 20 minutes. Now I am not enjoying the feeding time as much since I am spending all the time scared that she will choke. I have done some purees and spoon fed her, she actually does not mind it at all, eats all and happily plays with the spoon. I would love to let her feed herself without the stress and panic I feel at the moment. Do you have any advice? any recipes that are gag-proof? Thank you

  10. Hello, I need to send my baby to nursery in september and Cherry Tree nursery and Excel nursery are the only two that actually answer any of my emails or calls. They both offer her a place but i will need to put down quite a big deposit to secure her space. I am new to all of this and I am not sure what I was suppose to look for or which questions i should have asked; so I was wondering if anyone got any experience positive or not with these nurseries. thank you in advance
  11. HI ladywotlunches, I am very near to Peckham Rye park so the Piplings nursery seems a very good option. I have tried the Gumboots but i have been told twice, in october and now, that there is no space on the waiting list.I never told them i am a single mother maybe i should send them another email emphasising my sinle state. Thank you.
